Overview
Functions
Authenticate User Password Only means authenticating whether the user has logged in during accessing the template.
Logged-in users can access templates.
Non-logged-in users are prevented from accessing templates.

1. The successful login user here is the user who logs in to the FineBI system after the authentication of the username and password configured in System Management, not the username and password in the user's own system.
2. Authenticate User Password Only is used in conjunction with user authentication. Specifically, the username and password are authenticated based on the selected authentication method.
Application Scenarios
For small systems with few users and few requirements for permission assignment, you can use Authenticate User Password Only to prevent non-logged-in access to templates.
Example
Setting Template Authentication
Log in to FineBI, choose System Management > Template Authentication > Permission Configuration, and enable Template Permission.
Select the template to be authenticated. The blue icon represents access with authentication, while the black icon
represents access without authentication.
Select Authenticate User Password Only and click Save.
Demonstration
Enter the template viewing address in the browser address bar to access it as shown in the following figure. You need to first log in to the decision-making platform with user account before accessing the template.
