Overview
Problem Description
When you encounter the following problems:
1. Multiple indicators on a shared vertical axis impair data clarity.
2. You want to use dual y-axes to show values and percentages separately.
3. The two lines have similar values and are overlapping.
You can refer to the solutions in this article.
Solution
When two indicator fields are dragged into the vertical axis, you can select Right-value Axis as Shared Axis when setting value axis of the second indicator field.
Note: Before setting the right-value axis, you must make sure the vertical axis is an indicator aggregation.
Example
This article uses a column chart as an example.
Preparing Data
1. Enter the system, click My Analysis, select a certain folder under All analysis, and click New subject.
2. Click Local Excel > Upload to upload data.

3. Click OK.
Creating Component
Click Component in the lower left corner.
Select Custom Chart under Chart Type, and select Column Chart under Graphic Properties.
Drag Country into Horizontal Axis.
Drag Contract Amount and Payment Amount into Vertical Axis.
To differentiate the color of the indicator fields, drag TargetName into Color.
Setting Dual Y-axes
Note: To set y-axis labels, scales, titles, etc., see Setting Chart Value Axis.
Hover your cursor on Payment Amount in Vertical Axis, click , and click Set Value Axis(Left-value Axis).
Select Right-value Axis as Shared Axis.
The column chart now has two y-axes.
Setting the Numeric Format of Y-axes
Hover your cursor on Contract Amount in Vertical Axis, click , and click Numeric Format.
Select Million as Quantity Unit.
Follow the same steps to set the numeric format for Payment Amount. Select Million as Quantity Unit.
