This article introduces how to connect the StarRocks database.

What to Prepare

Before connecting to the database, you need to collect the following information:

• IP address and port number of the database server

• Username and password of the database

1. Click Manage > Data Connection > Data Connection Management > New Data Connection.

2. You can find StarRocks's icon here:

3. Enter connection information collected in the “What to Prepare” section.

Note: You can optionally modify other advanced settings on the page.

4. Click Test Connection. After successful connection, click Save.

There are two ways to add tables in databases to FineBI:

• Add a Database Table

• Add a SQL Dataset
