Function Description
This document introduces how to delegate the editing and managing functions of Data Portal to sub-admins.
Procedure

Example
This section takes the following scenario as an example. Assign permissions to the sub-admin Alice so that she can perform management, editing, creation, and other operations of the data portal.
Enabling Hierarchical Authorization
Log in to the FineBI system as the super admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Global Setting, enable Hierarchical Authorization, and click Save, as shown in the following figure. .
Assigning System Management Permission
To allow sub-admins to perform creation and management of the data portal, you need to assign them the Use permission of Data Portal.
Select the granted target from Dept./Role/User List. Take user Alice as an example. Then select Management System and assign the Use permission of Data Portal to Alice, as shown in the following figure.
Assigning Directory View Permission
If sub-admins need to use the Data Dashboard component when editing the data portal, you need to assign them the View permission of relevant directories.
Select the granted target from Department/Role/User List. Take user Alice as an example. Then select Directory and assign the View permission of Analysis Modal to Alice, as shown in the following figure.
Assigning Component Data Permission
To allow sub-admins to view the components of the dashboard in section “Configuring Directory View Permission” properly, you must assign them the Component Data permission.
Select the granted target from Department/Role/User List. Take user Alice as an example. Then select Data Authorization and assign the Component Data permission of Analysis Data to Alice, as shown in the following figure.
Effect Display
Alice logs into the FineBI system, and chooses System Management > Data Portal where all functions are available, as shown in the following figure.
On the data portal editing page, when Alice edit the Data Dashboard component, the templates that can be added are those under Analysis Modal.
