Excel File Upload Failure

Problem

When uploading data, you add an Excel dataset and select a CSV file. However, the upload fails, as shown in the following figure.

Cause

The inherent flaw of CSV files poses a risk of information leakage, so FineBI has implemented certain restrictions on uploading CSV files.

Solution

Choose System Management > Security Management and disable File Upload Verification, as shown in the following figure.

Description

In the cluster environment, a prompt indicating upload failure will be displayed when you upload Excel files with a large amount of data, as shown in the following figure.

Cause

The size of the uploaded Excel files exceeds the maximum limit.

Solution

Open the /usr/nginx/conf/nginx.conf file in the cluster environment, check and adjust the limit for Excel file upload size, as shown in the following figure.

Description

In the cluster environment, you fail to upload Excel files, as well as fail to upload images to Image Component.

Cause

Cluster configuration error caused inconsistency between the file user and FTP user.

Solution

When configuring the FTP service, you can view the FTP username.

Choose System Management > Cluster Configuration and change the file username to the same as the FTP username, as shown in the following figure.

Description

You fail to upload Excel files with a password.

Cause

You cannot upload encrypted Excel files to FineBI.

Solution

After decrypting the files, you can upload them to FineBI.
