    FineDataLink Version
    4.0

    Application Scenario

In addition to the normal login process, you may encounter some special scenarios when logging in to FineDataLink. The most common ones are network attacks (like maliciously sending short messages, brute-forcing login passwords, and increasing website loads).

You (the admin) can configure login authentication settings in FineDataLink and use Slider, SMS, and Email to add access paths.

    Function Description

    • Slider: Drag the slider to complete a puzzle for human-machine authentication, which can prevent frequent abnormal requests.

    • SMS: It serves as an efficient and convenient authentication method for logging in to the FineDataLink system.

    • Email: It is a less commonly used authentication method on the FineDataLink system, and also serves as a supplement to SMS authentication.

    Slider Authentication

    Enabling Slider Authentication

Log in to the FineDataLink system as the admin and choose System Management > System Setting > Login. Enable Slider in Login Authentication Setting, as shown in the following figure.

    iconNote:
If the slider is triggered, the slider authentication will occur constantly unless the correct username and password are entered.

    Effect Display

    1. If you input the wrong password twice, slider authentication will appear, as shown in the following figure.

    2. Drag the slider to the correct position, enter the correct username and password, and click Login. Next, the slider authentication will appear. After successful authentication, you can access the FineDataLink system, as shown in the following figure.

    SMS Authentication

    Setting a Sender for SMS

You must have an SMS sender. Otherwise, SMS messages cannot be successfully sent.

Log in to the FineDataLink system as the admin, choose System Management > System Setting > SMS, enable Use SMS Platform, and log in through a FanRuan passport account with SMS service enabled, as shown in the following figure.

    iconNote:

    1. You need to enable the SMS service and top up the account balance for the bound FanRuan passport account; otherwise, the SMS messages cannot be sent successfully. For details, see SMS.

    2. After configuration, click Send Test SMS to check whether the mobile number is available.

    Setting a Recipient for SMS

You must have an SMS recipient. Otherwise, SMS messages cannot be sent to anyone.

Therefore, for users who use SMS for login authenticationn, if their user information in the FineDataLink system is not bound to a mobile phone, the SMS cannot be sent successfully.

    iconNote:

Support the input of mobile phone numbers in mainland China, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China), Turkey, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia.

For countries and regions such as Taiwan (China), South Korea, Japan, and Malaysia, there is no need to add the number 0 before the phone number or after the area code.

    Enabling SMS Authentication

Log in to the FineDataLink system as the admin, choose System Management > System Setting > Login. Enable SMS in Login Authentication Setting, as shown in the following figure.

    iconNote:
Ensure that mobile numbers are bound to user accounts. Otherwise, users cannot complete the login authentication independently.

    Effect Display

Log in to the FineDataLink system as the user, enter the username and password, and click Login. You will be redirected to the identity authentication page, where the mobile number bound to the username is obtained automatically.

Click Obtain Verification Code and enter the received verification code, as shown in the following figure.

Click OK. If the verification code is correct, you will be redirected to the FineDataLink system. Otherwise, the system will display the corresponding error.

    iconNote:

    1. If the account balance is insufficient, you cannot receive the verification code. You need to top up in FanRuan Market.

    2. If SMS authentication is enabled and a user who has no mobile number bound logs in to FineDataLink, the system will display the prompt: "The system has login authentication enabled. To ensure account security, please contact the administrator to bind the phone number and then authenticate."

    Email Authentication

    Email Sender

You must set a sender for the email; otherwise, the email cannot be successfully sent.

Log in to FineDataLink, choose System Management > System Setting > Mailbox, configure the sender account, and click Save, as shown in the following figure.

A system sender is selected by default during scheduled task configuration. You can also select other senders from the drop-down list.

    iconNote:

    1. The configuration steps may vary depending on the mail server. For details, see Mailbox.

    2. After configuration, click Send Test Mail to check whether the email is available.

    Setting a Recipient for Email

You must have an email recipient; otherwise, emails cannot be sent to anyone.

Therefore, for users who use email for login authentication, if their user information in the FineDataLink system is not bound to their email address, the email cannot be sent successfully.

    Enabling Email Authentication

Log in to the FineDataLink system and choose System Management > System Setting > Login > Login Authentication Setting and enable Email, as shown in the following figure.

    Effect Display

If email authentication is enabled, the format of the received email after you click Obtain Verification Code is shown in the following figure.
