FineDataLink supports connection to Cache data sources with the following functions available:

Collect the following information before connecting FineDataLink to the database:
IP address and port number of the database server
Database name
Username and password of the database
For details about data connection creation, see Data Source Creation and Management.
Data Reading
1. You can select Cache as the data source in Data Synchronization, Parameter Assignment, Global Assignment Parameter, the DB Table Input operator in Data Transformation, and SQL Script.
2. If it is selected in Data Source in a scheduled task, the following functions are unavailable: Parallel Read, partition table reading, and field remarks.
Data Writing
You can select Cache as the data destination in Data Synchronization and the DB Table Output operator in Data Transformation.
If it is selected as the data destination in a scheduled task, DDL change synchronization and writing data into partition tables are unavailable.
You can use this data source to release data services. For details, see Overview of Data Service.
The Database Table Management and Lineage Analysis functions are available.
Under System Management > General Configuration, the Auto Table Creation Configuration function is available for this data source, while the Field Mapping Rule function is not.
