GaussDB 100/GaussDB T Data Connection

Function Description

FineDataLink supports connection to GaussDB 100 and GaussDB T data sources with the following functions available:

• Data reading/writing using Scheduled Task

• Data writing using Real-Time Task

• Data writing using Real-Time Pipeline Task

• Data Service

• Database Table Management and Lineage Analysis

Prerequisite

For details, see Overview of Data Connection.

Version and Driver

Download the driver package and upload it to FineDataLink. For the specific steps of uploading the driver package, see Driver Management.

Connection Information Collection

Collect the following information before connecting FineDataLink to the database:

• IP address and port number of the database server

• Database name

• Username and password of the database

Procedure

For details about data connection creation, see Data Source Creation and Management.

Note that when configuring the data connection, you must select Custom from the drop-down list of  Driver and select the driver mentioned in the "Version and Driver" section of this document.

Scheduled Task

Data Reading

1. You can select GaussDB 100/GaussDB T as the data source in Data Synchronization, Parameter Assignment, Global Assignment Parameter, the DB Table Input operator in Data Transformation, and SQL Script.

Note:

Stored Procedure in Configuration Method is unavailable.

2. If it is selected in Data Source in a scheduled task, the Parallel Readfunction is unavailable.

3. You can read data from partition tables in this data source.

Data Writing

1. You can select GaussDB 100/GaussDB T as the data destination in Data Synchronization and the DB Table Output operator in Data Transformation.

2. If it is selected as the data destination in a scheduled task, writing data into partition tables and DDL change synchronization are unavailable.

Real-Time Task

1. You can select GaussDB 100/GaussDB T as the data destination in the DB Table Output operator.

2. Partition Key Setting is unavailable currently.

Data Pipeline

1. You can select GaussDB 100/GaussDB T as the data destination of pipeline tasks.

2. Synchronization Without Primary Key is unavailable currently.

Data Service

You can use this data source to release data services. For details, see Overview of Data Service.

Data Management

The Database Table Management and Lineage Analysis functions are available.

General Configuration

Under System Management > General Configuration, the Auto Table Creation Configuration function is available for this data source, while the Field Mapping Rule function is not.
