Value Axis

Application Scenario

You can use the Value Axis function when the horizontal axis of the column chart represents values, as shown in the following figure.

Implementation Method

Choose Style > Axis > X Axis and set Type to Value Axis.

Template Creation

Create a general report, as shown in the following figure. 

Data Preparation

Create a built-in dataset named Embedded1 to record the scores and corresponding number of students in a class, as shown in the following figure.

Report Design

Column Chart Insertion

Merge required cells, and insert a column chart, as shown in the following figure.

Data Binding

Select the column chart, choose Cell Element > Data, and bind the data to the column chart, as shown in the following figure. 

Value Axis Setting

Choose Style > Axis > X Axis and set Type to Value Axis, as shown in the following figure. 

Title Setting

Choose Style > Title, select Show Title, and set Text and Character, as shown in the following figure.

Legend Setting

Choose Style > Legend, select Show Legend, and set Layout and Character, as shown in the following figure. 

Series Setting

Choose Style > Series, and set Color and Rounded Corner, as shown in the following figure.

Save the template, and click Pagination Preview. The following figure shows the effect.
