Overview
Problem
Without the Internet, GIS layers cannot be displayed in a point map. How can this problem be solved? The following figure shows the implementation of an offline point map.
Solution
You can display GIS layers by adding them into a point map within a combination map where an area map (with empty data) is set as the base layer.
Example
Report Design
Data Preparation
Create a built-in dataset named tourism, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Insertion
Merge required cells, right-click the cell A1, choose Cell Element > Insert Chart > Map > Area Map, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.
GIS Layer Setting
Select the combination map, select China as Map Border, and choose Standard > Null for GIS Layer, as shown in the following figure.
Data Binding
Choose Data > Point Map and select Lat/Long as Geographic Info, as shown in the following figure.
Style Setting
1. Choose Style> Label> Point Map, and select Use Label, as shown in the following figure.
2. Choose Style > Series, select Custom Combination as Color Scheme, and select Custom Image as Point Style. Set Width to 20px, Height to 30px, and Opacity to 20%, as shown in the following figure.
3. Set the map background. Set the Fill color to dark blue, as shown in the following figure.
