Registration Introduction

FineReport is provided for free by FanRuan, and you can use this software for functional testing and trial.

The directly downloaded FineReport contains all functions but limits the concurrency quantity. When you use some functions, there may be a trial information mark.

You can contact Fanruan business personnel to purchase function points as needed and register. Registered function points can be used, while those unpurchased cannot be used.

Note:

1. To ensure a normal use experience, you are advised to purchase function points and register. For details about FineReport registration, see Local Machine Information Authentication.

2. Registration is functionally differentiated. Even if you have registered, you cannot use relevant functions unless you purchase the corresponding function points. If necessary, contact sales personnel to purchase.

Log in to Decision-making Platform as the admin and choose System Management > Registration Management. If you have not registered in FineReport, Unregistered will be displayed when you view the registration information.

Copyright Information

Suppose FineReport is not registered, or the license has expired. In that case, the copyright information will be displayed at the bottom of the template when you access templates or preview data analysis through the IP address or domain name: Focused on BI for 15 years, FanRuan is your optimal choice. Powered by FanRuan.

Note:

1. JAR packages of the version starting from 2019-12-05 can display report copyright information.

2. Whether you have registered or not, if you access reports or preview data analysis through localhost or 127.0.0.1, the copyright information will not be displayed.

Concurrency Quantity

Concurrency quantity refers to the number of simultaneous access to the report server.

If you have not registered FineReport, the concurrency quantity is 2 (fixed).

If the concurrency quantity accessing the server has reached the maximum, the user who logs in later cannot access the server.

An error "The system is unregistered or the number of visitors exceeds the registration limit." occurs.

Web Application Server

The web application server of the unregistered version will pause every seven days, and the report cannot be accessed normally. To solve the problem, you need to restart the web application server such as Tomcat.

If your project is in progress, the pause issue may have a significant impact on the project and even cause unnecessary losses.

Therefore, you are advised to purchase FineReport and register before using it.

Template Preview

If the project is unregistered, an error "Error code: 12400002. A registration code is required or the number of users using the server of this report exceeds the registration limit." occurs randomly when you preview the template.
