Chart Feature
Data in the basic box chart contains only one categorical variable and one continuous variable.
For example, the basic box chart below contains one categorical variable Subject, and one continuous variable Score.
Example
Data Preparation
Choose File > New General Report in the upper left corner of the designer, and create a built-in dataset named Score Per Subject, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Insertion
Merge required cells, click the Insert Chart icon on the upper toolbar, select Box Chart, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.
Data Binding
Bind the data to the chart. As the data of the built-in dataset has been calculated already, select Result Data for Data form, as shown in the following figure.
Style Setting
1. Choose Style > Title, set Text to Basic Box Chart, align the title to the left in Position, and set the font size to 20, font type to Microsoft YaHei, and font color to black in Character, as shown in the following figure.
2. As the basic box chart does not have series, deselect Show Legend, as shown in the following figure.
3. Customize the minimum value and maximum value of Y Axis for the chart to adjust the display range of the box chart.
4. Choose Style > Background > Drawing Area, and set Horizontal to the dotted line in the Gridline area, as shown in the following figure.
5. Choose Style > Prompt, and deselect Series. Otherwise, the frontend preview will prompt a blank line out at the series name as the basic boxchart does not have series.
Effect Display

Save the report and click Pagination Preview. The effect is the same as that shwon in section "Application Scenario."
Mobile Terminal
The function is also supported on APP and H5 terminals, as shown in the following figure.
