Application Scenario

The chart title is a setting item in Chart Style, where you can change the display style and format of the chart title, as shown in the following figure.

Function Description

Title includes five general setting items, namely Content, Layout, Border, Background, and Display Strategy, as shown in the following figure.

Note:

1. Specific title setting items (if any) for certain charts will be explained separately in the documents of such charts.

2. If you do not want the chart to display the title, you canddeselect Show Title.

Content

Set the display content of the title, namely Text of the title. The settings are as follows:

• Text: You can directly edit the title text in the text editing box, or click the formula icon on the right, and enter text on the formula editing interface.

• Use HTML to Parse Text Content: The title can be displayed correctly during preview only when the title is HTML text, and the button is selected to be highlighted. Otherwise, the title will be displayed as a string by default. For more details, see: Custom Chart Title/Label/Prompt.

Note:

When exporting charts (images, Excel, and PDF), only some tags are supported: <b>, <strong>, <i>, <em>, <br/>, <span>.

Layout

Adjust the display position of the title. The settings are as follows:

• Position: You can set Position to left align, center, or right align, which is set to center by default.

• Customize Floating Position: You can customize the position of the title by setting the percentages in Direction X and Direction Y.

Style

Set the character style of the title text. The settings are as follows:

Character: You can set the  font, size, color, tilt, and boldness of the title.

Background

Set the background of the title. The settings are as follows:

• Fill: You can select No Background, Color, or Gradient Color from the drop-down list.

• Opacity: You can set the opacity effect of the background.

• Rounded Corner: You can set the rounded corner effect of the background border.

Display Strategy

You can control the size of the title display area and specify its maximum proportion. The settings are as follows:

• Area Size: You can select Limit or No Limit, which is set to No Liimit by default.

• Maximum Proportion: The setting item is available only when Area Size is set to Limit. You can customize the display proportion of the title, ranging from 0 to 100.

The title can be set on the Attribute panel of the chart block and report block in the FRM template, as shown in the following figure.

Show Title is deselected under Style > Title of the chart block by default, and a prompt statement is added: This function will be merged soon, please set the title in the [Attributes] panel of the component, as shown in the following figure.

The chart in a general report or in a cell of a report block remains unchanged, as shown in the following figure.
