2. Function introduction

When using the designer to design a report, when displaying a report with a large amount of data in the commonly used "Pagination Preview" mode, if the data exceeds   the paper size (page line) set in the page settings , the page will be automatically displayed. This article will briefly explain the "pagination report" displayed in pages according to the paper size by making a report.

1. Data Preparation

Create a new general report and create a new database query. The data comes from the built-in FRdemo data connection.

Data set DS1: select * from orders

3. Parent setting

The order information need to be displayed in groups according to the shipmethod, so select cell A5 where the order ID is located, and set its left parent cell to cell A4 where the shipmethod is located, as shown in the following figure:

4. Effect preview

Save the report, click "Pagination Preview", you can see that under A4 paper size, the report is divided into 5 pages for display, the effect is as shown in the following figure:

Both App and HTML5 are supported, and the effect is shown in the following figure:
