Configuring iOS Custom Certificate for App OEM

If you cannot apply for an Apple enterprise account, you can customize an iOS app to produce a custom app.

Functions

This article introduces the preparation work before app OEM. If you need to generate an app of iOS version, you can follow the operations below.

Apply for an Apple business account. Create an Apple business account (for distribution after app OEM) for operations about the custom app.

Logging into the FanRuan Market

Log into the FanRuan Market, enter User Center, go to App Packaging > iOS Custom Certificate under User Information.

Note: You need to contact sales personnel to purchase the service before using app OEM service.

Configuring the Certificate

Fill in the corresponding content on the iOS Custom Certificate tab. Click Apply for Certificate after completion. Applying for a certificate takes one day, and you need to pay attention to the email feedback.

Content descriptions:

· appID/bundle id: Start with com.fr.oem.xxx.

· Organization ID & Name: Click Settings > Registration Information > Organization Information to obtain in the Apple business account.

· Email: Fill in correctly, since it is mainly used to receive exception issues during certificate obtaining and app packaging and releasing process.

· Test Login Name & Test Login Password: Fill in the test account that can log in to the built-in server. If the app has a built-in server address, Apple requires a test account for logging in to review app packaging and releasing.

Downloading the Certificate

The configured iOS enterprise certificate is shown in the following figure. Click Download Certificate.

Using the Certificate

1. After configuring the certificate, you can package the app. For details, see App OEM Introduction.

Note: Possible reasons for app packaging review rejection:

1. App icon and name do not reflect the main function.

2. Location permission in the template is not used.

2. After packaging the app, you can use the downloaded iOS custom certificate for XG Push configuration, so that you can view app message push on the terminal. For details, see App OEM Supporting Message Push.

3. After packaging and releasing the custom app, you cannot list it in the store. You can generate a link for users to download. For details, see App OEM Automatic Distribution Plugin.

Login to the FanRuan Market, enter App packaging, click Apply for Certificate Modification, fill in the relevant information, and click Submit.
