Application Scenario
Scenario One:
Converting data analysis results into Word reports is a common business requirement. However, sometimes exporting reports to Word may not be suitable due to the high standards of formal reports. Formal reports require specific content and typesetting, such as descriptive statements to analyze indicators and fixed font and paragraph formats.
The report exported to Word contains only the report content, and the format and typesetting are preset and cannot be modified.
Scenario Two:
Handling reports involving plenty of data manually every time is troublesome and error-prone.
Take the Regional Sales Situation report shown below as an example. If each region requires a separate report, you can use FineReport to automatically generate the regional sales report for each region in this case.
FineReport Solution:
The Word Report plugin newly launched by FineReport adopts a design pattern of "Word + Designer".
The dataset fields, parameters, formulas, charts, tables, etc. in the designer are referred to as resources, which are prepared and designed using the designer.
You can insert these resources into Word, and then adjust the format and layout of these resources to export Word files in a fixed format.
When previewing the Word report template, you can see the final effect of the report, which can be exported exactly the same as what you see. The effect is shown in the following figure.
