Quick Replacement Supported by FVS Template Datasets
To avoid repetitive template design and reduce template maintenance costs, the Replace Dataset function is added in FVS V3.1.0.
Right-click a dataset and select Replace Dataset, or directly click the Replace Dataset button on the toolbar to replace the selected dataset.
FVS Canvas Operation Optimization
In FVS V3.2.0, the canvas and component operations have been optimized, effectively improving the canvas usage efficiency.
(1) Component Selection Logic Optimization
For combinations containing multi-level nodes:
If the parent node is selected, the child node can be selected only by double-clicking.
If the child node is selected, all the parent nodes of the currently-selected object cannot be directly selected by clicking.
In the same root node, only objects whose level is higher than or equal to the currently-selected node can be selected by clicking.
(2) Component Locking Optimization
You can right-click a component, choose Select Layer, and select the corresponding component for locking/unlocking.
(3) Separate Component Display Supported
If many components exist on the canvas, you may mistakenly select other components. To avoid this, the Separate Display function is added for you to right-click one or more components for separate display.
You can right-click the component again and select Exit Separate Display, or directly click the Exit Separate Display button on the top of the canvas/in component layer list to exit the separate display mode.
For details, see FVS Component Operation and Hotkey.
(4) Canvas Zoom Optimization
The template is zoomed with the selected position as the center.
A component dragged to the canvas edge cannot be dragged further.
You can press Ctrl and scroll the wheel to zoom the canvas.
The Adapt to Canvas button has been moved from the inside of the zoom drop-down box to the right side of the drop-down box.
For details, see FVS Canvas Edit and Adaptation.
FVS Theme Style Optimization
In FVS V3.2.0, the theme style is optimized to enhance its usability and reuse efficiency.
(1) Template Style Setting (original) has been replaced with Theme Style Setting where component styles and theme styles are no longer distinguished. Theme Style Setting applies to all contents (including component backgrounds and font colors) under the whole theme specification, helping users replace template theme styles with one click.
(2) The theme style application scope has been optimized. The theme styles of table components, maps, some frequently-used extended charts, and analysis components can be overwritten now.
For details, see FVS Template Style.
(3) Built-in Style has been optimized for templates. Various built-in styles have been added to enrich theme styles.
(4) Theme Color has been added to the FVS color palette, allowing the component color to change with the theme color configured in the template style.
If you want to modify the color of a component in a template for which the theme style has been configured, you can directly use the color in Theme Color to quickly adapt to the overall style of the template.
FVS 3D Component Optimization
In FVS V3.2.0, 3D components are optimized for higher usability. The following table lists specific optimizations.
Optimization Item | Description |
---|---|
Model List Optimization | To quickly locate the desired model from multiple models in the model list:
For details, see FVS 3D Custom Scene Component and FVS 3D City Scene Component. |
The Combine function is added to manage models by combination, improving search and maintenance efficiency. You can right-click multiple models selected simultaneously and combine/uncombine them. For details, see FVS 3D City Scene Component. | |
Model Animation is added on the root node configuration panel for you to quickly view/preview model animations. During preview, the canvas automatically focuses on the corresponding model and pauses the playback of other animations. During the preview, you can click Exit Preview or press Esc to stop the animation playback and return to the pre-focusing viewing angle. For details, see FVS 3D City Scene Component. | |
Default Level Change for 3D Model Data Preprocessing | The default maximum display level for 3D component model data preprocessing has changed from 2 to 0. For details, see FVS 3D City Scene Component. |
Default Viewing Angle Restorable for 3D Scenes | The Restore button is added on the viewing angle parameter panel. You can click this button to restore the viewing angle to its initial position during scene creation. You can also press Shift and C to restore the viewing angle. For details, see Camera Viewing Angle in 3D Scenes. |
Dynamic Value Supported by FVS Link-Type Components
(1) In versions earlier than V3.2.0, data can be obtained only by inserting formulas for Iframe components, Surveillance Video components, and URL/Pop-up Box interaction events, resulting in higher usage and maintenance costs.
In V3.2.0, you can bind dataset fields to achieve dynamic data changes.
The Insert Dynamic Value function has been added for Online Video in Local Video components and Online Image in Image components.
You can insert formulas or dataset fields. Fields are selected by default, and data in the first row is selected by default for dataset fields. Condition styles are not supported.
(2) Expansion based on the setting under Insert Dynamic Value > Field is supported for Image components in Expansion Component and URL/Pop-up Box interaction events.
For details, see FVS Dynamic Value and FVS Expansion Component.
FVS Pop-up Box Closing Button Always Displayed
The button to close the dialog box added by hyperlink in the table component is displayed when you hover your cursor in versions from V3.0.0 to V3.1.0, while always displayed in versions earlier than V3.0.0 and versions starting from V3.2.0.
The button to close Centered Display configured under Interaction Event > URL/Pop-up Box has been optimized to be always displayed in versions later than V3.2.0.
App Sharing Plugin Optimization
(1) Changed Dataset Format in the App Sharing Example
In FVS V3.1.0, the file format of data imported to the resources has been changed from DuckDB to H2, no longer requiring the dependency on the environment for dynamic connection and reducing the file size.
(2) Lineage View Added for App Sharing
If the App Sharing plugin of V1.4 and later versions is installed in FVS V3.1.0, the Lineage View function is added for you to quickly understand the composition of template contents and trace data sources through table lineage and component lineage.
The Lineage View button is located on the bottom toolbar, as shown in the following figure.
(3) For a project with both FVS of V3.1.0 and App Sharing of V1.4 and later versions installed, the resource center is optimized as follows:
App sharing is supported for you to view result data/SQL statements and understand data sources.
The lineage function is supported for you to quickly understand the overall template structure and locate data sources/flows.
Quick dataset replacement is supported for you to avoid repetitive template design and reduce template maintenance costs.
The maximum size of template resources that can be uploaded has been increased to 2 GB.
The page is optimized.
Platform
Error Prompt Optimization
If the system's available memory is insufficient, the calculation will be terminated and the error message "The extremely high system memory pressure triggers the global memory control to block this preview. Try again later." will be displayed for the template.
Triggering Logic and Prompt Optimization
The maximum number of blocked threads that trigger session closure has been changed from 5 to 3.
After threads are terminated, the message "The extremely high system memory pressure triggers the system anti-downtime protection. The current template calculation has been suspended. Try again later." will be displayed on the frontend.
Mobile Terminal
Floating Toolbar Supported on FVS Preview Pages
In FVS 3.1.0, Floating Toolbar can be configured on HTML5 terminals for higher space utilization and aesthetics during template preview.
Navigation Positioning Supported for FVS Components
Component navigation allows you to quickly locate specific components on the mobile page with long contents/multiple components and switch efficiently between contents.
After you switch to the mobile terminal in FVS 3.1.0, the Navigation configuration option (deselected by default) is added under Interaction > Preview Setting. You can also use the jumpToMark interface to achieve component navigation.
For details, see Quick Component Navigation on FVS Mobile Terminals.
