Overview
This document applies to users who have installed the FineVis Data Visualization plugin to learn plugin functions.
Version
Report Server Version | Plugin Version | Functional Change |
---|---|---|
11.0.22 | V2.7.1 | Changed the Insert Formula function of the title and rich text components to the Dynamic Value insertion function. |
11.0.22 | V3.2.0 | Added the Insert Dynamic Value function of the image and local video components. Changed the Insert Formula function of the iframe, surveillance video components and URL/Pop-up Box to the Insert Dynamic Value function. |
Application Scenario
1. The title component and rich text component are common text-type components, which are commonly used for the indicator card design.
When you design an indicator card, you often need to use data fields for the dynamic data display. However, before V2.7.1, you can only achieve this effect by inserting the formula. As a result, the use and maintenance costs are high.
To solve this problem, the Dynamic Value function is added in V2.7.1, which supports not only formula insertion but also dataset field binding to achieve dynamic data changes.
2. Image, Local Video, Surveillance Video and Iframe are commonly used components with links.
The Dynamic Value function of the online image of the image component and the online video of the local video component has been added in V3.2.0 and later versions.
The Insert Formula function of the iframe, surveillance video components and the Interaction Event function of the links/pop-up boxes was changed to the Insert Dynamic Value function, which further improved the flexibility of the components and the presentation of the dynamic data.
Besides, a series of indicator cards can be quickly generated through the Expansion Component function. For an example, see FVS Expansion Component.
