(1) The following backup and migration operations do not involve historical chats and only apply to uploaded files and products.
(2) Since historical chats will not be migrated, products cannot be viewed in historical chats. If historical chats are required, contact FanRuan for migration and ensure that the checkpoint is backed up.
Export deployment information and view the add-on path by referring to Exporting Project Deployment Information.
Taking the add-on path /data-ssd/dora/fanruan260513103732/fine-ai/ as an example, the following figure shows the effect.
(1) Back up all files excluding checkpoints.sqlite in the runtime directory.
(1) If you need to keep historical chats, back up all files, including checkpoints.sqlite, in the runtime directory. After the backup, contact FanRuan for migration.
(2) If there are no significant historical chat files, you are advised to perform backup directly according to the document.
(2) Since the runtime directory may be located in one of the following two paths, confirm the actual path first:
fine-ai/runtime
fine-ai/logs/_runtime
(3) Back up the files and check whether the backup is successful. (Modify the command according to the actual situation.)
# Example (Taking /data-ssd/dora/fanruan260513103732/fine-ai/logs/_runtime as an example):sudo tar -czvf /tmp/fine-ai-backup.tar.gz -C /data-ssd/dora/fanruan260513103732/fine-ai/logs/_runtime --exclude=df/checkpoints.sqlite .
(1) Click the following link to download the Data Agent plugin of the latest version.
Data Agent Plugin
(2) Log in to FineBI as the administrator, and choose System Management > Plugin Management > My Plugins.
(3) Click Local Install, select the obtained Data Agent plugin installation package of the latest version, and complete the installation.
Log in to the O&M platform as the administrator, uninstall the FineAI, FineAI Redis, and FineChatBI Semantic Parsing SLM containers, and upload the latest Data Agent image.
(1) Uninstallation notice:
After this operation, Dora's historical chats and memory will be permanently deleted, but agent-related configurations will be retained. After deletion, all content cannot be restored.
Carefully evaluate the related impact before uninstalling the containers, after which FanRuan cannot restore any uninstalled containers.
(2) Recommended operations:
Before uninstalling the project, you are strongly advised to perform a snapshot backup of all servers involved in the project yourself. For details about the snapshot backup steps, consult your server O&M personnel.
For the project restored by snapshot, only related resources can be restored, and there is no guarantee that the project and corresponding containers will still be usable.
You must complete the operations in the sections "fine-ai (Add-on) Backup" and "Backup Data Restoration" of this document. Otherwise, the original agents configured with Excel/CSV files as the data sources in Dora will be affected, which requires you to manually delete and re-add the data sources on the configuration pages of these agents.
(1) Developer Mode
Log in to the O&M platform as the administrator, click the project, and choose Maintenance > Component Management.
Click Enter Developer Mode and Confirm in sequence to enter the developer mode.
(2) Container Uninstallation
On the developer mode page, find the corresponding container, and click Uninstall Container.
Then the message "After uninstallation, this container and the mounting directory will be cleaned up and the content cannot be restored! If you confirm uninstallation, enter the container name." will be displayed.
Manually enter the container name and click Confirm. Then the O&M platform will automatically uninstall the container and related resources sequentially.
1. For FineBI of the Information Technology Application Innovation Industry (ITAI) version, you can add AI services into ARM-based ITAI servers.
2. The images provided in this document are all the latest AI images. Different FineBI versions are compatible with different AI image versions. If you need images of historical versions, contact FanRuan technical support.

Log in to the O&M platform as the administrator and choose O&M Platform > Platform Management > O&M Component.
Click Export Deployment Information. After deployment information is exported successfully, the address of the exported file will be prompted.
Go to the server where the O&M platform is located. In the same directory level as the logs directory where the exported file is located, there is a resources folder, which is the image upload location.
For example, in this example, the path where the exported file is located is /home/ops/fanruan_5d15bea4/ops/logs, so the image upload location is /home/ops/fanruan_5d15bea4/ops/resources.
Upload the two .tar.gz image files downloaded in the previous step to the resources folder.
Log in to the O&M platform as the administrator, choose Maintenance Center > Image Management, and click Load Image.
You can then select the two AI image files in the resources folder to load them. After being loaded successfully, the image files in the resources folder will be deleted.
After the images are pushed successfully, log in to the O&M platform as the administrator and choose Maintenance Center > Image Management to view the new images pushed to the repository.
Find the newly pushed fine-ai-bi7 and fine-chat-bi-parser-bi7 images, and remember their version numbers.
Log in to the O&M platform as the administrator, and choose O&M Platform > Platform Management > Update & Upgrade > Deployment List > Manual Change.
Manually modify the image version numbers of the two AI-related components to ensure that they are exactly the same as the image version numbers in Image Management. Only in this case will the O&M platform read the image versions to be updated.
Log in to the O&M platform as the administrator, select the corresponding FineBI project, and choose Maintenance > Component Management.
Click Add Component and choose Business Service > AI to add the AI components.
The AI component deployment entry is not directly open to the public by default. If the ai component deployment entry is not displayed, contact FanRuan technical support or sales personnel to obtain the method for opening the entry.
If a new server has been prepared for the AI components, you need to add this server to the project nodes first.
Click the Add Node button, enter the server information, click Add Node below, and wait for the node to be added.
The following table describes specific settings.
Node Setting
Description
Node Type
Select Component.
Host
Enter the node host IP address (intranet IP address).
Port
Enter the node port number, which is 22 by default.
Username
Enter the server username with sudo permissions.
Verification Method
Password and Public Key are supported.
1. The password/key is only used for project deployment and is not required after deployment is complete. The connection between the project and the O&M platform relies on platform configuration.
Therefore, subsequent changes to the server password will not affect O&M monitoring.
2. If you set Verification Method to Public Key:
Upload a private key file with the name extension .key, .pem, or .crt (for example, id_rsa.key).
Do not upload private key files with other name extensions, and do not upload public key files (for example, id_rsa.pub).
Mounting Path
Enter the server path of the node installation directory, which is the mounting directory set in the document Data Agent Server Preparation.
The default path is ~/data, where ~ represents the home directory of the used server user.
Extranet IP
Optional
If the server does not support intranet access and only supports extranet mapping, you can enter an accessible extranet IP address.
Select the project node to be used for deploying the AI components.
The minimum node configuration is a 16-core CPU, 32-GB available memory, and 500-GB available disk space. Any node below this configuration will be grayed out (unavailable).
Adjust the ports for each component according to the available ports prepared in the document Data Agent Server Preparation.
(1) You must change the passwords for the FineAI Redis component and the PostgreSQL component. The default component passwords are randomly generated and cannot be modified after deployment.
(2) The postgresql component username is fine_ai_checkpoint_user.
Click the Start Deployment button to automatically deploy AI-related components on the selected node. If the deployment fails, the failure reason will be displayed.
(1) Confirm the target location for the backup, which is to check the location of runtime (new add-on directory).
(2) Use the following command to copy and paste the backup file packaged in the section "File Backup" of this document to the target location:
# Example (The backup file package and target location need to be modified accordingly.):sudo cp /tmp/fine-ai-backup.tar.gz /data-ssd/dora/fanruan260513103732/fine-ai/runtime/
(3) Use the following command to enter the target location and decompress the backup file package:
# Example (The backup file package and target location need to be modified accordingly):cd /data-ssd/dora/fanruan260513103732/fine-ai/runtimesudo tar -xzvf fine-ai-backup.tar.gz
(1) After completing the above operations, log in to the O&M platform as the administrator, click the project, and choose Maintenance > Component Management.
(2) Find the FineAI component and click Restart.
After the upgrade is complete, upgrade the plugin installed in the "Data Agent Plugin Configuration" section to the latest version.
Choose Dora > Admin Console > Agent, select the original agents configured with Excel/CSV files as the data sources, and save and publish these agents. If no error is reported, the upgrade is successful.
