Two methods, namely Geographic Information and Custom Image, are available for setting map boundaries.
Geographic Information refers to actual geographic maps, while Custom Image allows you to flexibly set an image as the boundary of the map.
FineBI provides built-in geographic data and custom image resources that you can directly use. However, how to customize these two types of resources?
For details about customizing geographic information, see Geographic Information. The generated JSON file is automatically saved in %FineBI_HOME%\webroot\WEB-INF\assets\map\geographic\world.
For details about the custom image map, see Custom Image Map. The generated JSON file is saved in %FineBI_HOME%\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\assets\map\image.
Some custom JSON resources, including both built-in JSON files in FineReport and JSON files voluntarily uploaded by users, are provided here. You can download the resources directly as needed.

In addition to frontend map creation methods, JSON files can also be directly generated in the backend. The following shows the specific JSON format.
When manually adding JSON files to the project directory for geographic data, you need to create both XXX-area.json and XXX-point.json and place them in the same path. For files in custom image maps, you need to create only XXX.json.
