A detail table is used to display detailed data and usually contains a large amount of data records for analysis, querying, and other operations.
The table can display detailed information of data.
The table is not suitable for displaying multidimensional data.
The table does not support data summary.
The number of data records for making a detail table should not exceed 100 million.
You can set whether to display the number of current data rows and the total data rows (displayed by default). A detail table displays at most 20,000 records by default.
1. Log in to FineBI, click My Analysis, select a folder, and click New Subject.
2. Click Local Excel and Upload Data.
You can download the sample data: Sales Details.xlsx
3. Click OK after the data is uploaded.
4. Click Save and Update and Exit and Preview. The data is created successfully.
1. Click the Component tab in the lower left corner, as shown in the following figure.
2. Click Detail Table in Chart Type.
3. Drag the fields in the left to-be-analyzed area into Data.
1. Setting Number of Rows Per Page
You want to customize the number of data rows per page in a detail table or view data through a pagination function.
You can set Number of Rows Per Page under Component Style > Format.
The default value is 100, namely 100 rows per page.
You can enter a value between 1 and 1000 if the number of columns in the detail table is less than 50.
You can enter a value between 1 and 100 if the number of columns in the detail table is greater than or equal to 50.
2. Setting Show Row Info
Performance issues may occur when you edit or preview a detail table with a huge data volume. To prevent that, only 20,000 rows of data are displayed by default. You can view the actual data volume of the detail table by hovering the cursor over the icon next to "Display 20,000 Records of Data".
You can check/uncheck Show Row Info under Component Style > Format to show/hide the row information of the detail table.
3. More styles
You can also set Table Row Height, Table Font, Format, Style, and other items for a detail table. For details, see Component Style.
For details about how to set the table sorting, see section "Detail Table" in Table Sorting.
1. Click the Add Dashboard button at the bottom of the editing page.
2. Drag the detail table component into the dashboard on the Dashboard editing page.
3. Select Edit Title from the drop-down list, set Font Style to Custom, set the title to Detail Table, and click OK.
