  • Field Missing and Error Reporting in Dataset

    Description

You may encounter an error indicating that the field is missing when conducting dataset analysis, as shown in the following figure.

    Cause

The error is reported when the system can not find a field. For example, the field Profit may be deleted in the earlier steps.

    Solution

You can add the missing field before the error step. For example, you can add the field Profit before the last step to solve the problem.

    Field Name Passing Rules

The field name in the analysis step area is only passed downwards, not upwards. Changing the field name affects only the current step and subsequent historical steps.

The name of the field Product Name is changed to Product in the second step of the field setting. The modified name takes effect in the subsequent steps, but the field name remains unchanged in the first step.

When the field name matches the source field name, it changes along with the source field. If the field name has been renamed, it does not change along with the source field.

The name of the field Product Name is changed to Product in the second step of the field setting. Therefore, changes in the name of the source field Product Name will not affect its name passing to the second step.
