Function Description

The tool is commonly used for locating and analyzing problems, providing some quick query entries and automatic analysis functions.

Note:

This function is only available to the super admin account.

Table Extraction Property

All table information in the FineBI system is displayed in a detail table. You can export the detail table and search for the detail table data.

Indicators include Total Number of Extracted Tables, Actual Number of Extracted Tables, and Number of Non-Extracted (Real-Time Calculation) Tables.

The detail table shows Table ID, Table Name, Table Escape Name, Path, and Current Extraction Property (Extraction/No Extraction).

Regular Residue Update

You can delete regular update tasks after the data table/business package has been deleted.

SQL Performance Monitoring

Number of Tables

1. By User

The page lists the number of various tables (extracted tables, direct-connected tables, base tables, and self-service analysis tables) created by each user.

2. By Table Nature

The page lists the number of various tables (extracted tables, direct-connected tables, base tables, and self-service analysis tables) in the FineBI system.

Table Marked in Red

1. The page lists all self-service datasets marked in red according to the hierarchy structure of the extracted/real-time data, user's analysis, folders, and subjects.

2. You can search for required tables marked in red.

Folders where searched tables are located are displayed with their subject hierarchy levels expanded by default according to the data type (extracted data and real-time data respectively).

Folders unrelated to search results are not displayed on the page.

Table in Data Connection

The page displays the tables associated through data connections according to the structure of folders where the tables are located.

Dirty Data

Dirty Data includes tables not in the business package, invalid tables (only IDs left) in the business package, tables existing in multiple business packages, duplicate business package names, and invalid associations (only tables without fields).

The page provides entries for deleting dirty data in BI Extraction Preparation Configuration, BI Extraction Analysis Configuration, BI Direct Connection Configuration, Dashboard, and Platform Configuration.

System Activeness

Detect and count active users and behaviors each month in the system. 

Environment Detection

The function can detect the environment, including system environment information, BI project information, JAR package information, project directory files, cluster node information, and number of various types of tables (extracted tables/real-time tables).

Click the Start Environment Scan button to export all environment information, as shown in the following figure.

Quick Update Setting

If any component in the dashboard is sourced from a self-service dataset and the no-update setting is configured for related tables, dashboards of this type will be queried.

If the no-update setting is configured for tables related to a self-service dataset, datasets of this type will be queried.

Through the quick update setting, the Update Setting parameter will be set to Update With Parent Table for all parent tables of the object. If there are many such parent tables with complicated lineage levels, the update time may be affected. Perform this operation with caution.

Record Query Startup

Table Name Query

You can use one of the Original Name, Escape Name, File Name, and ID of the table to search for the other three.

Field Subcategory

You can use the table name (escape name) to query the subcategory of the field.

Database Table Reference Query

You can query information about DB and SQL tables using this table in BI based on the table name (including specific SQL statements) in the database.

You can click the table name to view detailed SQL content.

Column Permission Query

You can view the column permission configuration and calculation method of a specified field in a specified table for a specified user.

User Management Permission Repair

The function is used to repair the upgrade compatibility problem that some users lack management permissions on the self-service datasets in Public Data after the upgrade from BI 5.x to 6.0.

Note:

Laboratory Function is not fully available to the public at the moment.

LogDB Storage Configuration

You can store the LogDB database content to an external database.

You can convert both direct-connected and extracted database tables to SQL tables.

The page visually displays the FineBI projects, web-inf/lib folder, and web-inf/Driver isolation folder. The function also supports the search of load-class paths.

Connection Detection

You can click Start Detection to detect all data connections in the system, assisting in troubleshooting data connection issues before and after upgrade or driver isolation.

Regular Monitoring

The function can regularly check whether data connections are in a successful connection state.

You can set Monitoring Frequency (default/minimum value: 10 minutes) as required.

The detection range is all data connections in Data Connection Management.

"XXX data connection failed. Check the data source in time." is displayed as the notification content.

Project file cloning is to generate the necessary files for building the test project based on the latest backup files under System Management > Backup & Restoration.

If you need configuration such as the web cluster, mailbox, and SMS, perform configuration again.

Note:

Before using the file cloning function, ensure that all items in Backup & Restoration have backup files with the same date and that the disk space is greater than or equal to the size of the files to be copied + 5 GB. Otherwise, cloning cannot be performed.
