    Application Scenario

    You may want to export the analyzed data from the system, but the exported data as Excel files may be extremely large to result in high disk usage, and even cause a system crash if the disk is filled. FineBI 6.0 introduces a new function Export CSV to solve this problem.

    Function Description

    · This function is to export the detail table to a CSV file which is saved locally.

    · Only plain text content in detail tables can be exported.

    · You can export the detail tables to CSV files in dashboard editing and previewing status, directories, and analysis subject preview page.

    Plugin Installation

    You can obtain the plugin at https://community.finereport.com/plugin/?id=25.

    Choose System Management > Plugin Management> Local Install and select the downloaded plugin.

    Procedure

    Dashboard Edit Page

    On the dashboard edit page, select the detail table component, click , and select Export CSV from the drop-down list.

    Dashboard Preview Page

    Go to the dashboard preview page, click , and select Export CSV from the drop-down list.

    Analysis Subject Page Preview

    When previewing the analysis subject page, you can export the detail table to a CSV file.

    Component Export on the Directory Page

    To export the mounted dashboard component, ordinary users need to get the Exporting Permission of Directory granted by the admin. Select the component, and select Export CSV from the drop-down list. The exported CSV file is in plain text format with no component styles attached.
