FineBI Version
Functional Change

In the production environment, data control is quite strict, and most users are not allowed to export data.
Admins need to assign the Export permission based on permission carriers to control data security. Therefore, FineBI allows controlling template export permission.
The admin logs into FineBI, clicks Manage > Permission, and assigns the Export permission of a directory/dashboard in Directory.
The content that supports authorized export includes: directory nodes and FineBI dashboards.
The content that does not support authorized export includes: FineReport templates, report tabs, and hyperlinks. If you need to export FineReport templates, configure the browser-side export for the template.
Note:
1. For the content that does not support Export permission, the permission lock is grayed out, and a prompt will pop up: Currently, non-BI templates do not support export permission control.
The fact that the permission lock is grayed out does not prevent the admin from assigning Edit/Authorize permission.
2. Users with Export permission of a directory have permission to view that directory.
Example: Employees in Sales department need to export dashboards under Directory in PDF or Excel format.
In the Platform User interface, if there is No limit on user number of PC User and its subcategories, then there is no need to follow the procedures in this section.
In the Platform User interface, if the number of users in PC User and in its subcategories is limited, you need to follow the procedures in this section, otherwise you cannot view the dashboard.
The admin logs into FineBI, clicks Manage > User > Platform User, and adds the sales department employees to BI User (BI View User or BI design user).
Note: If a user is not a BI user (view user or design user), even if the admin assigns the viewing permission of the corresponding directory to the user, the user will see the corresponding directory on the left after logging into FineBI, but when clicking to view a specific dashboard, it will prompt: Sorry, you cannot view this page. No permission, please check the platform usage user settings.
The admin logs into FineBI, goes to Manage > Permission > General permission configuration, and selects the permission carrier Dept., Role or users from User List.
This example selects Sales department.
Select the Directory tab and assign Sales department the permission to export the KANO Model dashboard.
Note: A user who has Export permission of Directory also has its View permission.
The KANO Model dashboard uses data in KANO Analysis Table in Public Data. Therefore, it is necessary to assign corresponding component data permissions to the sales department employees to access this dashboard.
Select the Data Authorization tab, and assign Sales department the Component Data permission of KANO Analysis Table to view the dashboard.
Note: If you do not assign the Component Data permissions and then view the dashboard, an error message will prompt: Preview Failed. The data No permission to view used by the current component cannot be displayed normally.
Note: Only after enabling the Role Permission Authentication function in Template Authentication can you perform this operation. If it is not enabled, there is no need to perform this operation.
Select Sales department, and assign the Export permission of the KANO Model related dashboard to Sales department.
Sales department employee Alice logs into FineBI to view the Analysis Model directory and the dashboard in it. She can see the Export button on the top operation bar, which allows exporting the dashboard.
