Data Connection to FusionInsight Elk

Application Scenario

This document introduces how to connect FineBI to the FusionInsight ELK database.

Note:

This database does not support data tables with direct connection attributes.

Database Version and Driver

Connection Information Collection

1. Download the driver package and upload it to FineBI. For details, see section "Uploading the Database Driver" in Driver Management.You can view the driver upload page in the following figure. Click Save after successful upload.

Before connecting to the database, you need to collect the following information:

• IP address and port number of the database server

• Database name

• Username and password (for username and password authentication); client principal and keytab file path (for Kerberos authentication)

1. Log in to FineBI, choose System Management > Data Connection > Data Connection Management, and choose Create > Data Connection, as shown in the following figure.

2. Select All Data Connections, and find the FusionInsight ELK icon, as shown in the following figure.

3. Enter the connection information collected in section "Connection Information Collection."

4. Click Click to Connect Database to test whether the connection is successful. Select the database schema as needed after successful connection, and click Save, as shown in the following figure.

You can add tables from the FusionInsight ELK database to FineBI with the following two methods.
