Top Align, Bottom Align, and Vertically Center are supported in Text

    Component.

    Application Scenarios

You can use the text component to insert customized texts in dashboards.

    Functions

Text effects such as text explanation or dynamic customized titles are supported. You can insert text components in the dashboard editing page, add text content or analysis fields within the component, and beautify its style. Then the text component is configured.

Using Text Component to Add Text

    Adding a Text Component

Click Other, select Text Component on the toolbar, and drag it onto the dashboard page.

    Adding Text Content

Click the text component and enter content directly. You can enter content manually or paste the copied text content as needed.

    Note:

    1. Font styles compatible with the text component configuration are supported, while special styles are not supported.

    2. Refresh the page after you move the cursor away from the edited text component, otherwise the edited content cannot be saved.

    Editing Text Style

You can set the font format and its color of the entered text (including inserted fields and hyperlinks) in the text component.

For details, see Editing Component Title.

In FineBI 6.0.13 and later versions, Top Align, Vertically Center, and Bottom Align are supported in Text Component.

Different styles can be set for different entered text. For example, set the Business Analysis Report field to Align Center and Vertically Center, its font size to 28, and the font color to yellow, bold it, and set the background color to blue.

Then configure other settings for other texts.

    Note:
The PingFang font only takes effect in MacOS. PingFang is the default font in MacOS, while Microsoft YaHei is the default one in Windows.

Text Component's Change According to Filtering Conditions

You may want to add a text component in the analysis, which can dynamically change according to the filtering conditions set in the filtering component.

For example, filter out Pittsburgh, Albuquerque, and Atlanta in the City text filtering component. Then the text component displays Data in Pittsburgh, Albuquerque, Atlanta.

    Text Component Linkage

You may want to add text components in the analysis, which can dynamically change with the chart data, namely dynamically displaying the text content.

For example, click Las Vegas. Then the text component displays the corresponding data.

Jumping from Text Component to a Hyperlink

Hyperlink can be added to the text component.

Click the inserted hyperlink. Then you will be redirected automatically to the target page.

    Note:
If you want to jump from the text component to the dashboard, simply use the corresponding dashboard hyperlink.
