Overview
Expected Effect
You can calculate the percentage of sales of each of the top six areas in their total sales, as well as the percentage of sales of each of the top six areas in the total sales of all areas, as shown in the following figure.
Implementation Method
You can first obtain the top six areas by sales by filter and then use Quick Calculation (Percentage) and Secondary Calculation to achieve the expected effect.
Procedure
Sample data: Store Sales Data.xlsx.
Download the sample data, create an analysis subject, and upload the downloaded data.
Obtaining the Top Six Areas by Sales by Filter
1. Drag the dimension field Specific Area into the horizontal axis, drag the indicator field Sales to the vertical axis, and select Group Table in Chart Type, as shown in the following figure.
2. Click the Specific Area field, click the drop-down icon, and select Filter from the drop-down list. Click Add Condition, set a filter condition for Specific Area to obtain the top six areas by sales, and click OK in the filter setting box, as shown in the following figure.

1. Copy the Sales field, drag the indicator field Sales1 into the Indicator bar, click the drop-down icon, choose Quick Calculation > Percentage, and modify the field name to Percentage of each of the top six areas in their total sales, as shown in the following figure.

2. Secondary Calculation is selected by default for indicator fields. Namely, the percentage that you need, Percentage of each of the top six areas in their total sales, will be calculated based on the data obtained after filter, as shown in the following figure.
3. The following figure shows the result.

1. Copy the Sales field, drag the indicator field Sales2 to the Indicator bar, click the drop-down icon, choose Quick Calculation > Percentage, and modify the field name to Percentage of each of the top six areas in the total sales of all areas, as shown in the following figure.
2. Deselect Secondary Calculation. Namely, the percentage is calculated based on the data of all areas before filter, as shown in the following figure.
3. Since data displayed in the total row for Percentage of each of the top six areas in the total sales of all areas is incorrect in this case, you can set Summary Method to Sum under Component Style > Summary Row, as shown in the following figure.
