Application Scenario

This document introduces how to manage tables in public data. You can rename, move, delete, and view the source of the data table, and make a remark on the data table.

Note:

To perform the above operations, you need to have the permission to manage data tables first.

Click Public Data, select a basic table, and click the icon . 

Alternatively, click the folder where the table is located to manage the dataset on the right page. 

Click Public Data and click the icon of a self-service dataset, as shown in the following figure.

Click the folder where the dataset is located, and select multiple datasets on the right side to move or delete them in batches.

Select all: After selecting a folder, you can view a Select All button where you can select all datasets on the current page.

If you want to deselect all datasets, click a blank area of the page.

Enter keywords in the search box to find relevant datasets. 

With self-service dataset editing permissions, you can click Enter My Analysis to view or modify analysis steps.

If you do not have the editing permission, you can also view the analysis steps of the self-service dataset by clicking View Steps. However, you need to meet the following two conditions.

• First, you have the Use or Manage permissions for this dataset, which is to ensure that you can view this table in Public Data.

• Second, this self-service dataset has enabled Permission      Inheritance.

After clicking View Steps, you can view the internal steps of the dataset, but you cannot edit them.
