    1.2 Application scenario

FineBI's export feature can be used when users need to export dashboards to save data and charts for some other processing or reporting purposes.

Component export can be found in the document: Component Export to Excel.

    1.3 Function introduction

Dashboards can be exported by mounting them in a directory or in the dashboard editing screen. Data analysis dashboards can optionally be exported to Excel or PDF.

    • Export after mounting to a directory. Non-admin users need to enable directory export permission by the administrator to export the dashboard. As shown in the figure below.

    2)Save the downloaded Excel file.

    2.2 Excel file

When you select Export Excel, an Excel file is generated, which supports exporting the entire data analysis dashboard preview screen to Excel. The number of sheets included in the exported Excel is related to the number of components, generally, the sheet name is the corresponding component name. For example, if the above dashboard contains two components, the exported Excel will contain three sheets:

    1) Excel data of table component

    2) Excel data of chart component

    3) Dashboard page.

Note: When exporting Excel globally for multiple Tab components, the components need to be exported separately by the number of tab pages, and the export name is Tab component name - tab page name.

    2.2.1 Table Components Excel Data

The table component is exported as it is displayed after expanding all dimension nodes. It also includes the theme color and column width set by the component. Users can further process the exported Excel data for other uses, such as aggregation, as shown in the figure below.

    2.2.2 Chart Components Excel Data

The aggregated results of the chart component, aggregated by all dimensions in the component, are exported and stored in a detailed form, as shown in the following figure.

    14.png

    2.2.3 Dashboard page

The "Dashboard" page will include graphical effects for each component, and the layout will be exactly the same as the corresponding layout on the PC side. If various filtering components are used in the interface, the corresponding export will also receive the corresponding filtering effects of the components. That is, the exported content is consistent with the analysis results viewed by the current user. As shown in the figure below.

2.3 Order of Excel file export

Export components in the overall dashboard page from left to right, from high to low.

    3. Export PDF

    16.png

    2)Save the generated PDF file.

    3.2 PDF file

The exported PDF will only show the overall effect of the dashboard interface. The position of each component on the interface, such as charts, will be displayed exactly according to the layout on the PC side, while the corresponding components and other filtering conditions will also be exported. That is, the exported effect is the user in the PC side to see the data and graphics corresponding effect. The following figure shows.
