When FineBI is FineBI Installation, it will automatically jump out of the FineBI Decision-making System webpage.This chapter describes the steps for accessing FineBI for the first time and logging in again.

3. Function introduction

After initialization, FineBI can perform a series of operations such as data preparation, data processing, and visual analysis.

After installing and starting the FineBI server locally, enter the address: http://localhost:37799/webroot/decision to access FineBI and enter the guide page, which is divided into two steps: Account Settings and Database, as shown in the following figure:

1. Account Setting

Account Settings:Configure the username and password of the system administrator. The administrator is responsible for coordinating the entire system, including users, data, permissions, and system information.

The system administrator is also the user with the highest authority in the FineBI system. For details, please refer to: Overview of administrator operations.

Enter the administrator username and password, and click OK. The administrator account is set successfully, as shown in the following figure:

2. Database selection

Click "Next" to enter the database selection. As shown below:

All information stored in the database except the platform attribute configuration in the Decision-making System, including directory tree settings, template timing task information, etc. For details, please refer to:Introduction to FineDB

1)Built-in Database

Built-in database: The built-in database is suitable for personal local trial. Click "Direct Login" to directly log in to the system.

2)External Database

The External Database is suitable for official use by enterprises. Click "Configure Database" to configure the external database.

3. Log in

Enter the username and password, and click "Login" to enter the Decision-making System. As shown below:

Note: For details on whether to check the "Keep logged in" status, please refer to: Login.Log in

Start FineBI, visit http://localhost:37799/webroot/decision, enter the login page again, and enter the correct username and password to log in. As shown below:

Note 2: If you want to access BI only through IP, you can refer to: Direct access to Decision-making System through IP under Tomcat.
