1.1 Application scenario
Sometimes the user needs to perform some processing on the fields that have been selected in the self-service dataset. You can perform the following operations in the field setting: Hide field, Modify field name, and Adjust field order.
Note: The field type cannot be changed in field Settings. If you need to change the field type, see Adding a Column to set the Field Type
1.2 Function introduction
The field settings function can reset the existing fields, and the business person can directly add a new table on the basis of the original data table to set the data fields and save them for subsequent analysis.
2. Implementation steps
1)Go to "Data Preparation >SALES" and click "Add Table > Self-service Dataset", as shown below:

2)Select the desired fields from tables, as shown in the figure below:

3)Add field settings, as the figure is shown below.

2.1 Change the fields' name
Enter the field setting interface, hover over the field to be changed, you can change the field name. As shown below, change the "Product name" to the "material name".

2.2 Hide fields
If a field is no longer needed in the self-service dataset, you can hide it by unchecking it.
For example, if you deselect the SIGNDATE field, the SIGNDATE field is not displayed on the right. As shown in the figure below:

Note: If you want to add fields to the previously created self-service dataset that uses some fields, you can directly add fields in the history step. There is no impact on the association, data analysis, etc., which was originally done using the self-service dataset.
2.3 Reorder fields
To adjust the "orderID" field in the first place, you can click the chart at the end, and drag it to the place you want.
Save and update the self-service dataset. All the above operations take effect.
