Visual Component Error

This document introduces common component FAQs.

Problem:

The component error message "Formula is wrong: detail Filter in disaggregate formula!" is displayed.

Solution:

If such error occurs, calculation indicators are often marked in red. In this case, you can modify the calculation indicators to be legal.

Problem:

After you drag a calculation indicator that is calculated using quick calculation functions such as comparison with the same period to the analysis area, no corresponding value is displayed and the calculation indicator is marked in red. If you hover your cursor over the calculation indicator, the error message "Summary Method Lost" is displayed.

Solution:

Add the corresponding date dimension to the analysis area.

Problem:

The component error message "You currently have no permission to view the component data." is displayed.

Solution:

You need to apply to the administrator for the relevant data permission to access the component. For shared templates, you can select Use Data Permission of Creator to ensure that everyone to whom data is shared can view the data. For details, see Dashboard Sharing Permission.

Problem:

The component error "java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException" is displayed.

Solution:

This error is caused by table update failure. To solve it, you need to update the used tables.

Problem:

If the result obtained after details data volumes in both the row and column dimensions are multiplied is more than100 million, the error message "The data volume of the current table exceeds the maximum number of displayable rows.100000000: CrossTab is too large." is displayed.

Solution:

Try to reduce the data as much as possible. If the data cannot be reduced, contact our technical support. Under the guidance of technical support, modify the data access volume parameter. Arbitrary modification may increase the downtime risk.

Problem:

One hour after the group table is placed in the browser background, the error message "index: 1 size: 1” is displayed during pagination.

Solution:

Reopen or refresh the browser tab page.

Problem:

The component error message" Error. Exception thrown in awaitResult" is displayed. 

Solution:

Adjust the number of open files.

Problem:

Edit is normal but preview is abnormal if 0/0 (0 divided by 0) occurs after calculation indicators are added.

Solution:

BI calculates data itself during edit, but data is calculated in the database during preview. If the H2 database does not support 0/0, this error will occur. You can execute relevant SQL statements in the database to check whether 0/0 is supported.

Problem:

When you set fields as indicators and filter the largest/smallest N aggregation calculation indicators in Kylin's model and cube, the SQL statement is in select (.., field1, count(field1)) form, which will directly result in an error.

Solution:

The database does not support the above settings. To solve this problem, you can convert the chart (field summary method: automatic) into a table and set the summary method to sum. In this case, the SQL statement format has been changed to be a supported one, prevent such error from occuring in Kylin.

Problem:

The error message "Re-login as login information has expired.‘ is displayed.

Solution:

If the cache has been set for NGINX, set the NGINX cache to the static resource cache.
