    Login Page

Login is required to use FineDataLink. The login page is shown in the following figure.

The following table explains the Keep logged In function.

    Keep logged InDescription
TickedYou will stay logged in for 14 days.
UntickedYou will stay logged in for one hour by default. You can set the login timeout.
    iconNote:
    1. Multiple users cannot log in to the FineDataLink in the same browser. Otherwise, issues may occur, such as later logins forcing earlier ones to log out, unsaved edits being lost for certain users, or pages becoming unresponsive for some users.
    2. If multiple users need to log in to FineDataLink simultaneously, they can use separate browsers.

    Login Setting

After logging in to FineDataLink as the admin and choosing System Management > System Setting > Login, you can set:

Single Login, Last Login Prompt, Login Timeout Setting, Password Policy Setting, Login Authentication Setting, and Login Lock Setting. The page is shown in the following figure.

    iconNote:
Do not configure the password policy settings for projects with custom login pages. The configuration items under System Management > Login are not compatible with those included on custom login pages. For example, if you enable Forced Initial Password Change, you cannot access the password modification page through the custom login page, resulting in login failure.

    Precaution

After users set HttpOnly and perform login operations such as cross-domain login and backend SSO, an error will occur: The login information has expired.

You (the super admin) can modify the configuration via the FINE_CONF_ENTITY Visualization Configuration plugin to have tokens retrieved from cookies for validation on the server, thus fixing SSO failures that occur in backend and cross-domain scenarios when HttpOnly is enabled.

The settings take effect after the server is restarted.

    iconNote:
For details about how to modify field values in FineDB database tables, see FINE_CONF_ENTITY Visualization Configuration.
    Parameter NameParameter DescriptionParameter Value
ServerConfig.tokenFromCookieIf this parameter is enabled, tokens will be retrieved from cookies for validation on the server. It can resolve SSO failures in the backend and cross-domain scenarios when HttpOnly is enabled.

The parameter value must be of the Boolean type, with a default value of false.

false: Tokens cannot be retrieved from cookies for validation on the server.

true: Tokens can be retrieved from cookies for validation on the server.
