Application Scenario
You (the admin) want to assign users permission to view and edit specific folders and tasks in the API List in Data Service.
This document introduces how you can assign Management permission on Data Service to users for them to view and edit corresponding folders and tasks in the API List.
Prerequisite
Related functions have been registered. For details, see Registration Introduction
If you enable the User Restriction control, you need to add authorized users to Data Development User. For details, see Platform User.
Example
The example in this section shows how to assign Management permission on folders and API tasks to the user eoco, allowing eoco to view and edit corresponding folders and API tasks.
Enabling Data Service API Management
Log in to FineDataLink as the super admin, choose System Management > Permission Management, click the xx icon, enable Hierarchical Authorization and Data Service API Management, and click Save, as shown in the following figure.

Note:
Assigning Use Permission on Data Service Task
Firstly, the user eoco needs to have Use permission on the Data Service module, as shown in the following figure.
If you do not assign Management permission on specific Data Service tasks to the user following the section “Assigning Management Permission on Data Service Task”, the user cannot perform operations on Data Service after logging in to FineDataLink, as shown in the following figure.
Assigning Management Permission on Data Service Task
Log in to FineDataLink as the admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Common Permission Configuration. You can select the permission carrier from Dept./Role/User List.
In this example, select eoco from User List, choose Data Service API, and enable Management permission of Task 1 in the Financial Data folder and Management permission of the Sales Data folder, as shown in the following figure.
If user A has Management permission on a folder, then user A has Management permission on all current and subsequent API tasks in this folder.
If user A has Management permission on a task, but does not have Management permission on the folder where the task is located, then user A can only edit the specified task in that folder, but cannot create tasks in that folder.
Effect Display
After logging in to FineDataLink, eoco can view and edit Task 1 in the Financial Data folder and all API tasks in the Sales Data folder, as shown in the following figure.
You can also view details of API tasks within your permission scope in API Management or Call Record in O&M Overview, as shown in the following figure.
