KingbaseES (MySQL) Data Connection

Function Description

FineDataLink supports connection to KingbaseES (MySQL) data sources with the following functions available:

• Data reading/writing using Scheduled Task

• Data reading/writing using Real-Time Pipeline Task

• Data writing using real-time tasks

• Data Service

• Database Table Management

Prerequisite

For details, see Overview of Data Connection.

Version and Driver

1. Confirm the database version and download the driver package.

Supported Database Version	Driver Package
V9.x	kingbase8-9.0.1.jar

2. For independently deployed FineDataLink projects, place the downloaded driver package in FineDataLink installation directory\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\lib.

For FineOps-deployed FineDataLink projects, place the driver in the customlib folder in the mounting directory of the project. If you are unsure of the mounting directory location, see Exporting Project Deployment Information.

For a cluster project, you must upload the driver file to the corresponding folder on each cluster node.

3. Restart the FineDataLink project.

Connection Information Collection

Collect the following information before connecting FineDataLink to the database:

• IP address and port number of the database server

• Database name

• Username and password of the database

Scheduled Task

Data Reading

1. You can select KingbaseES (MySQL) as the data source in Data Synchronization, Parameter Assignment, Global Assignment Parameter, the DB Table Input operator in Data Transformation, and SQL Script.

Note:

Stored Procedure in Configuration Method is unavailable.

2. If it is selected in Data Source in a scheduled task, the Parallel Readfunction is unavailable.

3. You can read data from partition tables in this data source.

Data Writing

1. You can select KingbaseES (MySQL) as the data destination in Data Synchronization and the DB Table Output operator in Data Transformation.

2. If it is selected as the data destination in a scheduled task, the DDL change synchronization is unavailable; you can write data into existing partition tables, but cannot configure Partition Key Setting when setting Target Table to Auto Created Table.

Real-Time Pipeline Task

1. You can select KingbaseES (MySQL) as the data source of a real-time pipeline task.

2. Starting from FineDataLink V4.2.8.5, you can select KingbaseES (MySQL) as the data destination of a real-time pipeline task.

3. Synchronization Without Primary Key is unavailable currently.

Real-Time Task

Starting from FineDataLink V4.2.8.5, you can select KingbaseES (MySQL) as the data destination of a real-time task.

You can use this data source to release data services. For details, see Overview of Data Service.

Data Management

The Database Table Management function is available.

General Configuration

Under System Management > General Configuration, the Auto Table Creation Configuration function is available for this data source, while the Field Mapping Rule function is not.
