Application Scenario
Displaying the hierarchical relationships among nodes, the vertical structure chart is used to present the organizational hierarchy as well as the value of each node.
Chart Feature
Advantage: The chart allows you to view the hierarchical relationship easily and intuitively.
Disadvantage: The chart is unsuitable for displaying large datasets.
Attribute Description
Type
After inserting the vertical structure chart in Cell Element or Floating Element, you can freely select three subtypes under type setting on the right attribute panel.
The following figure shows the vertical structure chart.
Data
For details about binding data to the structure chart, see Chart Data.
The data of the structure chart includes Parent Node ID, Node ID, Node Name, and Value.
Not supporting text data, Parent node ID and Node ID are unable to determine the hierarchy.
There can be only one parent most node in the data.
The following figure shows the specific setting.
Style
For details about the style design of the structure chart, see Chart Style.
The series settings of the structure chart under Style > Series are different from the basic style and are introduced separately:
Color Scheme: 12 options from default to new features are available, and you can also customize the color scheme.
Link: You can set Color, Width, and Opacity freely.
Node: You can set Node Radius, Border Width, Color, Opacity, and Filled with Image.
Special Effect
For details about the Special Effect settings of the structure chart, see Chart Special Effects.
