I. Overview
1) The structure chart shows the hierarchical relationship between each node, which is used to represent the organizational hierarchy relationship, and it can also show the value of each node.
2) The framework diagram is simple and intuitive, and it is easy to judge the hierarchical relationship. But it is not suitable for the presentation of larger datasets.
3) There are three sub-types of structure charts, namely longitudinal frame drawings, transverse frame drawings and divergent frame drawings.

II. Steps
1. Data preparation
1. Create a new file dataset Dept annual leave, and its data structure is similar to Tree Dataset. Select the Excel file, as shown below:

2. Insert a chart
Take the Floating Chart-Divergent Structure Chart as an example, and other subtypes of the structure chart are similar. Please refer to insert Floating Chart.
Pop up the [Chart Type] panel, and select [Structure Chart] on the left.
Select [Divergent Structure Chart] on the right.
Click [OK] to complete the insertion of divergent structure chart.
3. Data Binding
1. Binding data can be set as follows:
Double-click the chart and click [Cell Element] on the right panel. Click [Data].
Select [Dataset data] for [Data source] and [Dept annual leave] for [Dataset].
[Node Name]: Set the name of each node on the frame. Select [Dept]
[id]: Set the ID of each node itself, and select [ID] here
[parent id]: Set the ID corresponding to the parent node of each node, and select [PID] here
Value: Set the value of each node. Select [Annual Leave]
Summary Method: Set the summary method. Select [None].
4. Style Setting
1. General style
Select the chart and click on [Style]. There are various types of charts, but most of the style settings are common, so you can refer to the chapter Chart Style for settings. Here we make the following settings.
Set the title:
Click the [Style] label.
Select [Title].
Set the title as Divergent Structure Chart
Set the label:
Select [Label]
Check [Use Label]
Select [Node Name] and [Value] for the text
Select [Overlap Adjust] as On
2. Special style
Some settings in the [Style] > [Series] of the structure chart are different from the basic style, and are introduced separately:
Color scheme: The system comes with a total of 12 choices from default to new features, and you can customize more color schemes.
Connection: You can select and set color, width and opacity, etc.
Node: You can set the node radius, node border width, border color, opacity, and picture fill.
