Report Background

1) In making a report, sometimes you have to set the background for the template to make it more suitable for the system style. Click [Template]-[Report Background] to set the background as you desired.

2) In the FineReport Designer, you can set the color, texture, pattern, gradient color and image for the report background.

3) After setting the report background, you can export or print it.

1. Go into the Report Background setting interface 

Click Template->Report Background. 

2. Set report background: color

1) Click Report Background->Color to select a background color and preview it in the Preview box.

2) Click on the  button right to select a color by dragging your mouse on the page. The color you picked can be previewed in the Preview box

3) Click More Colors for even more color options, or in the Colors window that opens, click the Custom tab to customize a color as you want.

4) Click OK to apply it to the background.

3. Set report background: texture

 Click Report Background->Texture to pick a texture. Click OK to apply it to the background.

4. Set report background: pattern

1) Click Report Background->Pattern to pick a new background pattern.

2) Select a foreground color and a background color in the drop-down box.  The color of the selected pattern will vary accordingly.

3) ClickOK to apply it to the background.

5. Set report background: gradient color

1) Click Report Background->Gradient Color.  Move the Color Stop to select a gradient color.

2) Move the Color Stop to create a gradual blend between two colors.

3) Check Horizontal or Vertical to set the gradient direction. Click OK to apply it to the background. The display effect is distinguished by the gradient direction.

6. Set report background: image

When making an overlay template, you can set the overlay background as the paper background to precisely locate the data position; the paper background is also often used to add watermarks to reports.

Open Report Background > Images, clickSelect Pictures, select the image you want to set as the background, and clickOpen, set the pictureStretchmethod, as shown in the following figure:

7. Export and print report background

1) Check Export Report Background and Print Report Background to export and print the report background.

2) Excel does not support exporting the report background. Word only supports exporting report background color and does not support exporting report background image. PDF supports exporting all report background elements.
