SMS Service

FR10.0 supports SMS message, which can be used in scenarios such as identity verification, task schedule failure reminder, task schedule notification, memory overflow alert, etc.

Note: 

• If the "SMS" function is not registered, you cannot find the SMS configuration page in the decision-making platform.

• FanRuan promises not to store the user’s SMS content. The content of the text messages will only be stored in the local logdb database of the decision-making platform. Since the platform is deployed locally, Fanruan will not get the data.

• Some pages encountered in SMS configuration haven't been fully translated to English. It is highly suggested that you contact our technical support to complete the SMS configurations including service application and service fee top-up.
  

1. Login using FanRuan Pass

Login the platform by Admin account, click [Management > System > SMS], enable [Use SMS Platform] and login using FanRuan pass (the same as FineReport Community account).

2. Apply for SMS

Click on [Request to open SMS service].

Click on [apply for SMS service] and check agreement. 

And wait for application acceptance.

3. When the application is successful

After the application is successful, the SMS configuration page will be like this:

1) Account Balance

If the account balance is insufficient, click Recharge to jump to FanRuan Market to recharge.

• Each SMS in Mainland China charges 0.06 yuan. If the balance is less than 0.06 yuan, the SMS fails to be sent.

• Other regions: Malaysia 0.274 yuan/text, South Korea 0.145 yuan/text, Japan 0.546 yuan/text, Hong Kong-China 0.372 yuan/text, Taiwan-China 0.258 yuan/text, Turkey 0.208 yuan/text, Singapore 0.304 yuan/text.

If the balance is less than 2 yuan, the SMS will fail to be sent.

2) Test

Note: 

• There will be 5 free text messages for testing new accounts.

• The report version 10.0.12 and later supports binding mobile phone numbers in China Mainland, Taiwan-China, Hong Kong-China, Turkey, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia.

• In Taiwan-China, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and other regions, there is no need to add 0 after the area code or before the mobile phone number.

• If the version is rolled back, the originally bound mobile phone number that is not in China Mainland will not be able to receive SMS messages sent by the system.

Click [send test information] to send test SMS. Enter a receiver.

SMS text will be in different language according to different regions.

• China Mainland: Simplified Chinese

• China Taiwan: Traditional Chinese

• Other regions: English
