Application Scenario
Sankey charts, also known as sankey diagrams, are a specific type of flow charts that describe the flow from a group of values to another group of values. Such charts are suitable for displaying the flow and distribution of energy, resources, funds, and other indicators between multiple states or stages.
The initial flow and the final flow in a sankey chart are the same. The total width of all main lines is equal to that of all divergent sub lines, maintaining energy balance. In the chart, different lines represent different flow diversion situations. The width of each line proportionally display the flow occupied by this line. For nodes, different widths represent different flow sizes in specific states. The width of each divergent line in the chart corresponds to the size of the data flow, which is usually applied to the data visualization analysis in scenarios such as energy, material composition, and finance.
Function Description
The Sankey Chart plugin provided by FineRuan is mainly used to display the flow and distribution of data between different nodes.
The tooltip can move with the cursor.
The plugin allows you to customize titles, labels, nodes, and line styles.
The plugin is not supported in IE8 browsers. Do not download or enable this plugin when using IE8 browsers. Otherwise, the operation of other templates may be affected.
