I. Overview
1) Web link is similar to the commonly-used hyperlink. You can add a web link to jump to a web page.
2) This article introduces how to jump to FineReport Website and Google from a report.
3) You may refer to Basic Settings of Hyperlinks.
II. Jump to FineReport Website
1. Design a report
Input the following text in B2: Go to FineReport Website
2. Insert a Web Link
1) Click B2, click Hyperlink, and choose [Web Link].
2) A [Web Link] setting window pops up.
3. Configure Web Link settings
Set the URL as https://www.finereport.com/en/, and other settings remain unchanged.
4. Preview
Click Go to FineReport Website and a new window pops up, where you may find a web link of the English version of FineReport Website.
III. Jump to Google
1. Design a report
Input the following text in B4: Search FineReport
2. Insert a hyperlink and configure web link settings
1) Insert [Web Link] in B4
2) Set the URL as: https://www.google/com/
3) Click + to add parameters that are to be transferred to Google. Set the parameter as q and the value as FineReport.
3. Preview
Click Search FineReport and a new window pops up. The window shows the homepage of Google and the web link of FineReport automatically appear in the search box.
Note1:The default way of transferring parameters to a web page is GET mode.
Note2:Web Link is commonly used to call a web page or a report from different domains. In case of cross-domain calling, GET mode is often used for transferring parameters to a web page.
