Function Description
Rich text components are commonly used for text instruction and indicator card data configurations in dashboards, or for article information display in dashboards.
This document only introduces the unique functions of rich text components.

Adding a Component
Create a FineVis visualization dashboard.
Add a Rich Text component to the canvas with default prompt displayed as "Input text on the right. Text will be displayed in real time. Content exceeding the text area will not be displayed normally.
Content Style
On the Content edit panel on the right, you can enter texts in the edit box and adjust the format through the buttons above the edit box.
After completion, the texts are displayed on the canvas in real time, as shown in the following figure.
The following table describes text style settings.

Adjusts the selected text font. Note: The FineVis Data Visualization plugin 2.1.0 and later versions support the fuzzy search function, allowing you to quickly search for the needed font. | |
Adjusts the selected text font size. Note: If you directly modify the font size in the entering box after selecting the text, you need to click the blank area to confirm the modification. Do not press Enter directly, otherwise a line break will be performed, and the selected text will be deleted. | |
Adjusts the selected text color. | |
Determines whether the selected text is bold. | |
Determines whether the selected text is italic. | |
Determines whether the text is underlined. | |
Inserts formulas in rich text components. | |
Sets the alignment of the selected row to left/center/right. | |
Sets the height of the selected row. | |
Sets the vertical alignment (top alignment/center alignment/bottom alignment) of the component overall content. |
Formula Calling in Rich Text Components
Rich text components can retrieve data through formulas (only some FineReport functions).
Formulas are displayed as Formula + Number (like Formula1 and Formula2) in the rich text edit box, and are displayed as the calculated values on the canvas, as shown in the following figure.
Marquee Effect
You can select Enable Marquee Effect to scroll texts as a whole, as shown in the following figure.
