Application Scenario
The needs and issues of report users can be fed back promptly to IT personnel through comments, improving the report optimization efficiency. Information sharing can help users learn possible data issues.
The function allows users to share and store report data at specific moments and under specific filtering conditions so that users can view and trace information in time.
The function can enhance the social attributes of reports to increase users' enthusiasm in using reports.
Function Description
Report Comment: allows users to post comments, messages, and notes on reports.
Report Sharing: allows users to share the preview result (in snapshot format; consistent with the schedule result generated by task schedule) of the current report.
Report Likes: allows users to like reports.

Plugin Installation

Procedure
After plugin installation, you can configure global templates or a single template in the project.
1. Global configuration
Log in to the decision-making platform and choose System Management > Report Community > Global Configuration as the admin. Then you can enable Report Comment, Report Sharing, and Report Likes.
After being enabled, the functions will take effect for all templates that have not been separately set in the system.
2. Single template
Choose Template > Report Community. Then you can set Following Settings to Set for Template Separately, and enable Report Comment, Report Sharing, and Report Likes.
After being enabled, the functions will take effect only for the current template.

Report Comment
1. You can comment on templates.
2. Designated users are notified through System Message, E-mail Notification, and SMS Notification when new comments are posted.
3. Commenters are notified through System Message, E-mail Notification, and SMS Notification when new replies are made to comments.
Example:
Alice has developed a new template called GettingStartedEN.cpt.
After Anna comments on the template, Alice is notified through the system message.
After Alice replies to Anna's comment, Anna receives a notification of the reply through the system message.
Template Setting
Open the GettingStartedEN.cpt template, choose Template > Report Community > Report Comment, and set Following Settings to Set for Template Separately.
Tick Enable Comment, tick Comment Notification, select Alice as the notified user, tick Reply Notification, and select System Messages as the notification method.
The following table explains each configuration item.
Item | Description |

Enable Comment | Determines whether the comment function is enabled for the current report. Only when the function is enabled can comments be posted during template preview. |
Comment Notification | Determines whether the corresponding user is notified when a new comment is posted on the template. The selectable options are the users on the decision-making platform, from which you can only select one. |
Reply Notification | Determines whether the commenter is notified when a reply is made to the comment. Replying to the comment will not trigger the above comment notification. |
Notification Method | Allows you to select the specific notification method after the above two notification functions are enabled. Currently, three methods are supported. 1. System Message System messages are sent by the decision-making platform. 2. SMS Notification ![]() 1. To use SMS Notification, the SMS function must be enabled first. For details, see SMS Service. 2. Ensure that the user's information includes a bound mobile number, otherwise the user cannot receive SMS messages. 3. E-mail Notification ![]() 1. To use E-mail Notification, the mailbox service must be configured first. For details, see Email Service. 2. Ensure that the user's information includes a bound email address, otherwise the user cannot receive emails. |
Effect Display
Template Comment/Reply

The comment and reply functions require the user information on the decision-making platform. So you must log in to the platform before making comments on templates.
Without logging in to the platform, you are automatically redirected to the login page of the decision-making platform after clicking the comment input box or Reply button.
Anna logs in to the decision-making platform and accesses the GettingStartedEN.cpt template mounted in the directory. The community icon is displayed on the template preview page. When you hover the cursor over the community icon, the Comment button is displayed.
You can view comments on the current report by clicking the Comment button. You can perform the following operations.
1. Adding comments: Simply write the comment on the template in the input box and click Confirm to post the comment.
2. Adding replies: Click the Reply button under the existing comment, enter the reply to the comment, and click Confirm to post the reply.
3. Viewing comments/replies: View all comments and replies for this template, including the content and posting time.
4. Deleting comments/replies: Common users can delete only their own comments and replies, while admins can delete all comments and replies.
Comment Notification
Alice has been set to be notified when new comments are posted on the template.
Therefore, Alice can view Anna's new comment on this template after login to the decision-making platform.
Reply Notification
Alice replies to Anna's comment.
Then Anna can view the reply made by Alice after login to the decision-making platform.
Report Sharing
Template Setting
Open the GettingStartedEN.cpt template, choose Template > Report Community > Report Sharing, set Following Settings to Set for Template Separately, and tick Enable Sharing.
Effect Display

The sharing function requires the user information on the decision-making platform. So you must log in to the platform before sharing the template.
Without logging in to the platform, you are automatically redirected to the login page of the decision-making platform after clicking the Share button.
Anna logs in to the decision-making platform and accesses the GettingStartedEN.cpt template mounted in the directory. The community icon is displayed on the template preview page. When you hover the cursor over the community icon, the Share button is displayed.
Click the Share button to open the report sharing setting page, where you can perform the following setting, as shown in the following figure.
1. Encrypt the shared link. If Password Protection is enabled, a password is required to access the created link.
2. Set the valid period for the shared link. Expired shared links cannot be opened.

2. You cannot use the sharing function during data entry preview.
Report Likes
Template Setting
Open the GettingStartedEN.cpt template, choose Template > Report Community > Report Likes, set Following Settings to Set for Template Separately, and tick Enable Likes, as shown in the following figure.

Without logging in to the platform, you are automatically redirected to the login page of the decision-making platform after clicking the likes icon.
Anna logs in to the decision-making platform and accesses the GettingStartedEN.cpt template mounted in the directory. The community icon is displayed on the template preview page. When you hover the cursor over the community icon, the likes icon is displayed.
The black background represents that you have liked the report, while the white background represents that you do not like the report. Click the likes icon to give or undo a like.
The number next to the icon represents the total number of likes for the current report.
Without logging in to the platform, you will see the white likes icon and will automatically be redirected to the login page after clicking the likes icon.
Personal Center
Personal Behavoir
You can click My on the decision-making platform to view personal comments, sharing, and likes data on the personal center page.
You can click the corresponding View Details to open the unified viewing and management page for report comments, sharing, and likes separately.
Unified Comment Viewing and Management Page
You can view and manage report comment data on this page. Admins can view data of all users, while common users can only see their own data.

You can view and manage report sharing data on this page. Admins can view data of all users, while common users can only see their own data.

On the Overview page, you can view the total number of likes for templates.
On the Details page, you can view detailed likes data. Admins can view data of all users, while common users can only see their own data.
