Application Scenario
By using Extended Chart - Globe, enterprises can present their data on a globe, which is particularly useful for visualizing the distribution of global data.

Function Description
The chart allows you to display and refresh the data. For details, see Chart Manual Refresh.
The chart allows you to adjust the styles of the title, the legend, the series, the globe, the background, and the prompt.
The chart allows you to set the timed refresh and the hyperlink.

Example
Data Preparation
Choose File > New General Report in the upper left corner of the designer, and create a built-in dataset, as shown in the following figure.

Report Design
1. Merge required cells, select cell A2, click the Insert Chart icon on the upper toolbar, choose Extended Chart - Globe > 3D Column on Globe, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.

2. Bind the data to the chart, and set the data items (Longitude, Latitude, Value, and Name), as shown in the following figure.

3. Choose Style > Series on the attribute panel, and set the setting items, as shown in the following figure.

4. Choose Style > Globe, and set the setting items, as shown in the following figure.
Radius: The default value is Auto. Select Custom and enter 70 for the example.
Depth: You can set the value (200 by default) to a positive integer.
Layer: Fluorescence, Blue, Black, and Red are available.
Height Texture: You can select Display (default) or Hide.
3D Effect: Two effects (Real and Luminance) are available.
Auto Rotation is enabled by default.
Rotation Direction: Clockwise (default value) and Counterclockwise are available. You can set Rotation Direction only after you have enabled Auto Rotation.
Center Longitude/Center Latitude: The initial center is Beijing by default. You can customize the center longitude and latitude.
Color: The light color is set to white by default.
Intensity: The light intensity (ranging from 1 to 10) is set to 1 by default.
Shadow: The shadow is enabled by default.

5. Choose Style > Background on the attribute panel, and set the background of the chart area. Fill can be set to No Background, Color, Image (default), or Gradient Color.

6. Choose Style > Prompt on the attribute panel, and set the setting items, as shown in the following figure.
Use Tooltip is ticked by default.
Content: The content of the tooltip.
Style: Font family and font size of the tooltip content.
Border: The border style of the chart tooltip, which includes Line Style, Color, and Rounded Corner.
Background: Fill (filling color), Opacity, and Shadow

7. Select Special Effect on the attribute panel, and set the setting items, as shown in the following figure.
Timed Refresh: You can determine whether to enable Timed Refresh (disabled by default) and set Time Interval (10s by default).
Hyperlink: The hyperlink settings are the same as those of the basic chart. For details, see Chart Interaction.

Effect Preview
Save the template and click Pagination Preview. The effect is the same as that shown in the section "Application Scenario."
