Application Scenario

To display the entire content when too many data texts exist, texts need to be automatically wrapped or the row height needs to be adjusted, as shown in the following figure.

Function Description

You can use Table Row Height in Component Style to set whether to automatically wrap texts and the row height for the table header and body.

Data Preparation

1. Log in to FineBI, click My Analysis, select a folder, and click New Subject.

2. Click Local Excel, click Upload Data, and upload table data.

Sample data: Air Transport Information Table.xlsx

3. After the data is uploaded, click OK.

4. Click Save and Update and Exit and Preview. The data is created successfully.

Component Creation

1. Click Component in the lower left corner.

2. Select Group Table in Chart Type.

3. Drag Airline, Category 1, Category 2, and Validity from the left area into Dimension and Count from the left area into Indicator, as shown in the following figure.

Setting the Table Row Height and Wrapping Texts

1. Click Table Row Height in Component Style.

2. Select Wrap Text for Body and increase the value of Row Height, as shown in the following figure.

Note:

The display effect of Wrap Text has been optimized in FineBI for tables. After you set Row Height and select Wrap Text for tables, the field values will automatically be wrapped for full-content display without exceeding the maximum row height.

Dashboard Creation

1. Click Add Dashboard at the bottom of the analysis subject editing page.

2. Drag the component into the dashboard on the dashboard editing page.

3. Select Edit Title from the drop-down list, set Font Style to Custom, set the title to Table Row Height, and click OK.
