Optimized the default expanding/collapsing effect for dimension nodes of components in group/cross tables.
You need to adjust the display effect of the table.
Group Table
Number of Rows Per Page, Display Sequence Number, Expand/Collapse Row, and Freeze Table Dimension
Cross Table
Number of Rows Per Page, Number of Columns Per Page, Display Sequence Number, Expand/Collapse Row, and Freeze Table Dimension
Detail Table
Number of Rows Per Page, Display Row Quantity, Display Sequence Number, and Freeze First N Column
Take the group table as an example. Under Component Style > Format, you can configure the Number of Rows Per Page, Display Sequence Number, Expand/Collapse Row, and Freeze Table Dimension settings, as shown in the following figure.
The detail table and detail table allow you to set the number of rows per page only, while the cross table allows you to set both the number of rows and columns per page. You can choose Component Style > Format:
If you set Number of Rows Per Page for the group table to 8, only eight rows of data will be displayed on each page, as shown in the following figure. The remaining data needs to be viewed by pagination.
If you set Number of Rows Per Page for the cross table to 8 and Number of Columns Per Page to 4, only eight rows and four columns of data will be displayed on each page, as shown in the following figure. The remaining data needs to be viewed by navigating through pages.
If you set Number of Rows Per Page for the detail table to 50, only 50 rows of data will be displayed on each page, as shown in the following figure. The remaining data needs to be viewed by navigating through pages.
If you select Display Row Quantity for a detail table, the total row number of the table will be shown at the bottom of the component.
During editing or previewing, the system displays a maximum of 20,000 rows of data for performance optimization. If the total data exceeds this limit, you can hover over the exclamation mark icon to view the actual total number of rows in the detail table, as shown in the following figure.
After you select Display Sequence Number, a column named Index is added at the front of the table to display sequential row indexes, as shown in the following figure.
Expand/Collapse Row Selected
1. If Collapse is selected, table rows are collapsed by default. If Expand is selected, table rows are expanded by default, as shown in the following figure.
2. You can click the expansion icon to flexibly control the expanding/collapsing state of table rows when viewing the component, as shown in the following figure.
3. Starting from FineBI V7.0.6, the default expanding/collapsing effect of dimension nodes for components has been optimized, as shown in the following table.
The component is collapsed (default or manual).
In this case, the expanding state of each dimension value node can be saved.
The component is expanded (default or manual).

Expand/Collapse Row Not Selected
If Expand/Collapse Row is unselected, you cannot expand and collapse table rows: 1. All table rows are expanded by default, and the expanding and collapsing icons for rows disappear. 2. Row quantity information is displayed at the bottom, as shown in the following figure.
A cross table contains column dimensions that the group table does not have. Therefore, the cross table supports not only Expand/Collapse Row, but also Expand/Collapse Column.
The expanding/collapsing effect for rows of the cross table is the same as that of the group table. This section demonstrates the expanding/collapsing effect for columns.
Expand/Collapse Column Selected
1. If Collapse is selected, table columns are collapsed by default. If Expand is selected, table columns are expanded by default, as shown in the following figure.
Expand/Collapse Column Not Selected
If Expand/Collapse Column is unselected, you cannot expand or collapse table columns: All columns are expanded by default, and the expanding icons will disappear, as shown in the following figure.
When Freeze Table Dimension is selected, the width and position of frozen dimension fields remain fixed while you scroll the table horizontally via the scroll bar.
Group Table: When you scroll the table horizontally via the scroll bar, the positions of dimension fields remain fixed, as shown in the following figure.
Cross Table: When you scroll the table horizontally or vertically via the scroll bar, the position of dimension fields remains unchanged, as shown in the following figure.
The detail table allows you to freeze the first N columns, with a maximum limit of 10 columns. For example, you can freeze the first four columns. The following figure shows the effect.
