You can apply for publication in the following scenarios:
Apply to publish a completed dashboard to directories.
Apply to publish a dataset created in My Analysis to Public Data for others to analyze.
Admins of different departments are only responsible for dashboard and dataset publications of their own departments.
Super admins can allocate using permissions in System Management to allow admins to manage publication and review of dashboards and datasets of their own departments.

Enable Resource Publishing Prompt.
Manage notifications received in platform message from resource publication application.

Using permission for Directory Management and Template Management in System Management.
Manage the process of application for mounting.

Personnel Management
Determine whose mounting message will be seen.
Assign management permission for the applicant to the receiver.

Dashboard publication requires editing permission for directories.
Determine the directory where the dashboard will be mounted.
Assign to the user the editing permission for the directory where the dashboard will be mounted.
Dataset publication requires management permission for folders.
Determine the folder where the dataset will be mounted.
Assign to the user the management permission for the folder where the dataset will be mounted.
There are two departments in the system: 1. TechnicalSupport department whose minister is Alice and its user is Anna. 2. Sales Department whose director is Lisa.
Scenarios: After Anna applies for dashboard publication, only Minister Alice will receive the application message and canmount it to the directory. Ministers of other departments cannot receive the application message.
Log in to FineBI as admin, choose System Management > Intelligent O&M > Information Notification > Message Prompt, and enable Resource Publishing Prompt.
If Resource Publishing Prompt is not enabled, users can still apply for mounting, but cannot receive messages on time. You are advised to enable this function.
Log in to FineBI as admin, and click System Management > Permission Management, click to go to Global Setting. Enable Hierarchical Authorization and Directory Edit.
Log in to FineBI as admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Common Permission Configuration, and choose permission carriers Dept., Role or users.
Take Minister in Technical Support as an example. Click System Management, and assign using permission for Directory Management and Publication Management to the minister of Technical Support.
Take Minister in Technical Support as an example. Click Personnel Management, and enable Manage permission for Technical Support to the minister.
Assign to the user the editing permission for the directory where the template will be mounted.
Log in to the decision-making platform as admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Common Permission Configuration, and choose the permission carrier Dept., Role, or users.
Click Directory Permission, and enable Edit permission of the directory Function for Minister of Technical Support.
Log in to FineBI as user Anna (Anna, 1) of Technical Support, create a dashboard, and apply for publication.
Log in to FineBI as Minister Alice (Alice, 1) of Technical Support, and you can see the application from Anna.
In System Management > Publication Management, Alice can mount the dashboard applied by Anna to the directory Function.
Scenarios: After Anna applies for dataset publication, only minister Alice will receive the application message and canangmount it to the folder. Ministers of other departments cannot receive the application message.
Log in to FineBI as admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Global Setting, and enable Hierarchical Authorization.
Take Minister in Technical support as example. Click System Management, and assign using permission for Publication Management to minister of Technical Support.
Take Minister in Technical Support as example. Click Personnel Management, and enable Manage permission for Technical Support to the minister.
Assign to the user the management permission for the folder of Public Data where the dataset will be mounted.
Click Data Authorization, and enable Manage permission of the folder Industry Data of Public Data for the minister of Technical Support.
Log in to FineBI as user Anna (Anna, 1) of Technical Support. Under My Analysis > Analysis Subject, after editing data, you can choose > Apply for Publication.
Under System Management > Publication Management, Alice can mount the dataset applied by Anna to the folder Industry Data.
