Basic modules include BI-Real-time Engine, BI-Extraction Engine, BI-Self-service Data Analysis, BI-Dashboard Analysis, BI-Component Analysis, and BI-Analysis Platform.
You must select at least one of BI-Real-time Engine and BI-Extraction Engine. Other modules must be selected, otherwise, FineBI cannot be used normally.
After purchasing the license, the detailed functions of basic modules are not restricted. The basic module has no limit on concurrency by default, and you can purchase the accounts as needed.
Real-time engine can directly connect to the big data platforms on the market, achieving high performance and real-time processing of massive data.
The user's query for data will be submitted to the database for calculation, and data can be used directly without being extracted.
The engine is suitable for scenarios where there are high requirements for real-time data and the database performance is fine.
If this function is not registered:
It is not allowed to add base tables that directly connect to the database.
The existing base tables with direct connection with the database in the historical project cannot be used for calculation by the real-time engine, and previewing will prompt an error "No real-time engine has been registered".
The operations for other tables are not affected.
The distributed extraction engine can pre-extract data for offline calculation, achieving high-performance calculation and query of data in the scale of hundreds of millions or more.
It is not allowed to add base tables that extract data from the database.
The existing base tables with data extracted from the database in the historical project cannot be used for calculation by the extraction engine, and previewing will prompt an error "No extract engine has been registered".
The existing base tables with data extracted from the database stop being updated.
You can further process data in "My Analysis".
You can achieve deep analysis with functions such as filter, group summary, add column, field settings, sort, join, union all, row-column transformation, self-looping column, and field type conversion.
There is no entry to add data into the subject in my analysis and creating a new dataset is not allowed.
You can preview and use the existing datasets in the historical project, but cannot perform operations like edit, publish, move, etc.
The dashboard is a panel of visual components created for displaying data analysis. In the dashboard, you can add filtering components and other components (like tab components, web components, text components, and image components), refer to chart components, and combine drilling, linkage, jumping, and other functions to carry out online analytical processing (OLAP).
Creating dashboards is not allowed.
You can preview and use the existing dashboards in the historical project, but cannot perform operations like edit, publish, move, etc.
You can choose from a variety of chart types, and customize the color, size, tooltips, labels, and granularity to create various visual effects for analysis.
Creating new components (there is no entry to create components in the subject) is not allowed.
You can preview and use the existing components in the historical project, but cannot perform operations like edit, move, etc.
It is composed of public data, my analysis, and directory.
Public data is used to manage basic datasets (Excel tables, DB tables, SQL tables), ETL datasets, and self-service datasets published by users to the public space, for base table processing, data updates, as well as association and multipath settings.
My analysis is used to manage Excel tables, self-service datasets, components, and dashboards.
Directory is used to manage published dashboards, user-favorite dashboards, and shared dashboards.
If the function is not registered, there are no My Analysis and Public Data modules in the platform.
With this decision-making platform, enterprises can build a comprehensive decision platform, which provides functions including appearance configuration, system operation and maintenance, system configuration, plugin management, user management, data configuration, and user information monitoring, supporting the analysis of various themes.
If this function is not registered, you can log into the platform, but the directory of both the administrator and ordinary users is empty, and you cannot add directories.
FineBI allows you to easily and quickly set up push tasks, such as daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
You just need to set scheduled tasks, and the server will automatically complete the set tasks at the specified time.
FineBI supports scheduled report generation, scheduled data conversion, and scheduled sending of emails, SMS, and app notifications. It also allows specifying directories where reports are generated and viewing report generation results with a Web browser.
If this function is not registered, there is no 'Task Schedule' module in the system. If you visit http://IP:{port number}/webroot/decision/timer, it will prompt that this function is not registered.
This function can intelligently detect system problems and risks, set thresholds for memory occupancy warnings, actively push alert messages by system messages, emails, and SMS, and notify the operation and maintenance personnel in a timely manner to ensure the high availability of the system.
If this function is not registered, load monitor, memory session, and template limit are missing in load management, and resource anomaly and disk operation and maintenance are absent in load management.

Through group authority control, multiple departments can share the system, and each department can have its own administrator. Permissions can be assigned to corresponding employees in the department to form hierarchical management, and the administrators can only assign template permissions within their own scope of responsibility.
It supports the multi-level allocation of permissions for database connection, report design, and report viewing and management.
If this function is not registered, you cannot use group authority control. Group permission control consumes function points of the decision-making platform.
It allows integration with other information systems through dataset authentication and LDAP authentication and achieves permission control on report pages.
If this function is not registered, you cannot use the template authentication in the platform.
Some users, for security reasons, want their accounts to be logged in from only one location. FanRuan provides the option for single sign-on.
If this function point is unauthorized, the single sign-on configuration is mandatory.
It allows FineBI to visually reflect geographical attributes, indicators, etc. on the map, supporting built-in maps, custom maps, and GIS maps. It could present various styles of maps including regional maps, point maps, heat maps, flow maps, combination maps, etc.
If this function point is unauthorized, you cannot create a map component by dragging the latitude and longitude fields to the horizontal and vertical axes and an error message will prompt saying that you have not purchased this function.
If this function point is unauthorized, you cannot use the analysis interface and the preview interface of existing map components normally, and an error message will prompt saying that you have not purchased this function.

If this function is not registered, you cannot use the print and export in the toolbar, and it will prompt that you need to update the license.
It allows you to adjust the layout of frm on the web page to speed up frm design and debugging. For more details, see Developer Debug.
Some users use short-term authorized projects, which will be affected by the expiration of the authorization.
When the project authorization expires, you will see a popup reminder for registration after you log into the FineBI system, as shown in the figure below:
When you are viewing the dashboard, it will prompt "System is unregistered or number of visitors exceeds limit".
FineBI has a License Expired Reminder function to remind users to replace authorization in advance through SMS, platform, and email.
The super admin logs into FineBI, click Management System > Registration Management > Global Settings to set the date and the receiver of the expiration reminder and click Save.
You can set it to remind users to update the authorization from 1 to 15 days before the expiration, and the default value is 7.
1. Click Enable SMS Function to configure the SMS setting.
2. Click Enable Email to configure the email settings.
When reaching the reminder deadline, the system will automatically send the reminder message to the designated recipient at 9:00 a.m. every morning prompting that "Your license will expire in XX days, please re-authorize as soon as possible".
1) SMS reminder
2) Platform reminder
3) Email reminder
Some users' license file has a short valid time and need to re-register regularly. If there are missing function points in the new license file, it may cause the previously made dashboard to be unusable.
Therefore, the system will compare the new and the old license files when you register again. If there are changes in the function points, you will be notified.
It will prompt "Sure to stay registered?" and "There are changes in the new lic file function points, which may cause the project to not work properly! Please contact technical support to check the lic file."
Please carefully check whether you want to change the function points. Please contact technical support in time if there is any problem.
