Functional Change
FineBI is provided for free by FanRuan, and you can use this software for functional testing and trial.
The directly downloaded FineBI contains all functions, but limits concurrency. When you use some functions, there may be a trial information mark.
You can contact FanRuan business personnel to purchase function points as needed and register. Registered function points can be used, while those unpurchased cannot be used.
Note:
1. To ensure normal use, it is recommended to purchase function points and register. For details about FineBI registration, see Local Machine Info AUTH.
2. Registration is functionally differentiated. Even if you have registered, you will not be able to use the relevant functions unless you have purchased the corresponding function points. If necessary, please contact sales personnel to purchase.
Checking Registration Status
The admin logs into the FineBI system, clicks Manage > Registration. If you haven't registered FineBI, then there will be Not Registered in Registration Information.
The Impact of Unregistered FineBI
Copyright Information
If FineBI is not registered or the license has expired, when you access templates or data analysis through the IP address or domain name, the copyright information will be displayed at the bottom of the template: Focused on BI 15 years, Fanruan is your optimal choice. Powered by FineRuan Trial mode.
Note: Whether you have registered or not, if you access templates or data analysis through localhost or 127.0.0.1, the copyright information will not be displayed.
Concurrency
Concurrency refers to the number of IP addresses allowed to access the FineBI server simultaneously.
For the unregistered version, only two different IP addresses can be used to access the server concurrently.
If the number of IP addresses accessing the server has reached the maximum concurrency, users who log in later will not be able to access.
Note: Accessing templates through a public link occupies concurrency, and the occupancy will be released after closing the page.
Web Application Server
The web application server of the unregistered version will pause its operation every seven days, and the dashboard cannot be accessed normally. To solve the problem, you need to restart the web application server such as Tomcat.
If your project is in progress, the pause issue may have a significant impact on the project and even cause unnecessary losses.
Therefore, you are recommended to purchase FineBI and register before using it.
Registration Reminder
If FineBI is not registered or the license has expired, when you access templates or data analysis through the IP address or domain name, it will pop up Registration Reminder once a day.
Note: If you have not registered, when you access templates or data analysis through localhost or 127.0.0.1, Registration Reminder will not pop up.
