Application Scenario
After adding data to an analysis subject on the data editing page, you can perform data management such as editing, saving, renaming, deleting, and dataset creating.
Function Description
The following figure shows the function entry.
After you add data or go to an analysis subject, the system automatically redirects you to the data editing page.
Data List
The following figure shows the left data list.

Renaming
You can click the table name to rename the table. Besides, you can also click the icon and select Rename to rename the data table.
Dataset Copying
Copy: You can copy the table to the current analysis subject.
Publication Application
You may create multiple data tables in one subject. After creating a table with a high completion rate for reuse, you can publish the table separately to Public Data for others to use.

Update/Refresh Information
You can click Update to update the single table and Update Information to view the update status, as shown in the following figure.
Dataset Creation
You can use the analyzed dataset in the current subject as a data source to create another dataset.
For example, if you create a dataset based on Product Sales (a dataset that has undergone many analysis steps), Product Sales will be the parent table of the created dataset.
Remark
FineBI supports remark addition to data. You can enter the relevant information into the input box for recording.
After adding the remark, you can hover the mouse over the data table to view the remark.
Dataset Deletion
The following figure shows how to delete a table.

Data Table Preview
You can preview the data table on the data edit page, as shown in the following figure.
You can preview the data table in My Analysis, as shown in the following figure.
Table Management
Update Information
If the data belongs to Extracted Data, the preview page will display an additional Update Information tab compared to Direct-Connected Data. You can update the extracted data in Update Information.

You can click the Update Now button to obtain the latest status of the data.
You can click the Update Setting button, select Update With Parent Table from the drop-down list, and click OK to set the data to be updated to the latest status when its parent table is updated.
You can click the Update Setting button, select Not Update With Parent Table from the drop-down list, and click OK to set the data not to be updated with its parent table. You are advised to select this option for update resource saving if the data update frequency is low.
